Nah, this one wasn't tedious at all. It was actually quite fun to find the crucial moment to employ the glitch!
I finished this with a blink charger, one red key and one orange key to spare (and I see it is different from your solution). I only used the glitch once--the way you used it to shoot a floing bubble into the penultimate chamber.
