Magic 1 and 2 were cute puzzles.
Magic 3 was a bit tricky. I completed it but didn't get either of the coins - I wasn't sure how to obtain the key to reach the western coin, and I couldn't be bothered to spend several millennia figuring out the angle required for the eastern coin.

So apparently in Magic 2 the "Blink while moving" trick is required. I don't know how to do that, so I used a very convoluted Save+Blink trick (which involved blinking, rapidly saving, and blinking again before the first blink spell reaches its target).
Is this trick required for a GOLD Magic 3?

No, but you must use one particular magic while moving to reach the west coin.
