Just posted an update. Now there's an invisible 'something' to prevent an alternate route.

An 'alternate' route? 
I didn't see an 'alternate' route, I used everything provided and spent a long time figuring out how to move my helper around until eventual success.
I'll take a look at the revised version but I had fun playing the original, thanks Mark.

Yes, there is an easier path that you can take for the first part.
Let me know if you solved it the intended way with the update.

Okay, I just played the revised version and except for a little run up the right side it played about the same. I guess it's easier, not sure.
But still fun and that's what counts.
