The Omnidirectional Contest [Ends: 7/1/2016*]

What's this? A contest?!?

Yes, that's right! I've decided that, after so much time, it'd be nice to try and start a new contest for Wonderland kind. :)

Though I somewhat doubt there'll be a significant number of contributions,
I still figured that it'd be nice to try this one out for size.

The contest is fairly simple. Various users of every kind are welcome to submit their adventure designs until 6/30/2016, at which case the contest will officially
have ended(even if I'm not around to notify such, though hopefully I will be),
and you may no longer submit your entries into the contest However if you've
made another adventure, I'd love to see it still uploaded.

However, it's not simply making the best adventure and my judging it.
There are rules to this contest, and it is up to the community, as a whole,
to decide which of the contest submissions is best IN THEIR OPINION.
Note that this is strictly on their opinions for the best,
and please do not take things personally if you do not receive any votes.

The rules to this contest are simple, though possibly brutal. They are:

1. You must build your level in the file that's provided at the bottom of this post.
2. You must NOT change ANY of the terrain's logic or height/xtrude.
(Note: The 1,1 tile is a "floor" so flash won't mav)
3. You may not have more than one .lvl file(i.e. only this room is allowed)
4. You may not change the size of the room.
5. Making the adventure winnable, without "cheating"
6. Follow the rules, or else you'll probably be disqualified(though it'd probably still be a nice adventure)

And that's actually it! You can do whatever else you want with it, including:
1. Changing the win conditions, spawn location, name, description, etc.
2. Adding dialogue, npcs, and even level arrows
3. Adding mavs(which is not recommended)
4. Adding bridge chains and fire traps(which is not recommended)
5. Adding props such as gates, bridges, and other objects to change level logic
(though you'd probably* be deducted points for appearance or authenticity)
6. Making it incredibly easy or difficult
7. Making tiles look different, changing water height/turbulance,
randomness, water direction and look, and round/square and smooth/jagged
8. Changing the light levels, level/water textures, water features, music, and weather
9. Adding fake objects
10. Adding custom content i.e. music, objects, textures, etc.
11. pretty much everything else.

Once you are done with your adventure, please PM it to me, and when the contest has ended,
I'll post the adventures in a new topic in the actual adventures/hubs section.
You may post your adventure here, however it would spoil the surprise for some people.

And, that's pretty much everything! Again, the level you must work in is at the very bottom.
I hope you enjoy! I look forward to seeing your contributions.

Oh, uh, quick note, I will not be entering this contest, myself, unless there are legitimately less than three people entering it...

Edit: Oh yeah and here's a preview of what the level will look like, so you can tell if you want to actually try this or not.

Seems like an interesting challenge, and I hope to be able to participate, but as for the deadline... I assume that was a typo and it was supposed to say 2016? I certainly hope so.

Are we able to add walls and floors inside your design?

OH! YES, thank you!

Nope! You may however add things such as plants to make walls, add gates and bridges, or any other object (though again people may deduct points from you if it doesn't look pretty).

Yep! The contest has been delayed slightly to allow for Sammy_P's entry to be finished(as I hear it's very close to completion).
If anyone else wants to start, I highly recommend against it unless you know that you can get it done within 24 hours.

Besides that, the contest is nearly ready to enter phase 2 - Operation Criticism
...
I mean, the entries are soon ready to be uploaded to the public where the members of the forum get to pick who they think should win.

Something I'd like to mention, contestants can vote, as well
- however, they can not vote for themselves.

I look forward to seeing your submissions, and...
though I said I wouldn't join unless less than three people participated...
well, Cookie talked me into joining anyways, since I mainly
made that announcement since I felt I would be cheating if I did join
- but I realized, too late, that it wouldn't be cheating because I'm not even the sole judge.
Something to note, uh, I won't be voting on my own adventure - in fact I'll probably vote on someone else's adventure. Happy Wonderlanding!
