Adventure #3: Fire and Ice (updated 4 the last time)

==TIMEBREAKER TETRALOGY==
1.
A New Voyage
2.
Walking On Hot Coals
3. Fire and Ice
4. The Crimson Legacy
Anyway, back on topic, this adventure is a mix between my last two- i. e., it's not hard and not easy, and it's not long, but it's not short. This is the first adventure of mine which stars a proper cutscene besides the one in A New Voyage, and it's got the most foreshadowing and lore of any of my adventures!
id love to see if you can find those hidden command 21s that hide the actual lore
This adventure requires
My Music Pack at V8.
Put the icons in the Icons folder, and put redstar and sparks into the Custom folder. Rename fire kanji from what the name the computer supplied you to exactly "fire kanji" and put that in the Custom folder. Put the custom models from the Dropbox link into UserData/Custom/Models. Put the leveltextures into UserData/Custom/Leveltextures.
This requires nearly all of Pawelec's custom Mayan models: they can be found here.
This requires StinkerSquad01's Spectrajade texture.
...and my Teleporter Spectrum.

At least you're uploading videos so I can at least see the adventure.
I might as well make the plant CvP boss even stronger and harder and more frustrating than the Fake Wall Boss.
Also, while I agree that Pawelec's custom things are amazing, people will have to go through the process of making an account on the lair to download his works. Why not just put them in multiple zip files? Don't be lazy and make the other people do the hard work. Do it yourself.
Edit: Wait that's not a video solution

The first post has been updated to add a couple of textures to the adventure zip file, and to add a link for the models.

What is this "waiting game" you speak of?
Also, I saw that one part in your most recent post (b4 you removed it) about you not being lazy, and I apologize for that too.
(Also can you upload a video solution like you did with Walking on Hot Coals?)

The "waiting game" I speak of is waiting for more downloads on the adventure.
I already did, but I didn't want to add them to the post as soon as I posted, and I uploaded the video solution right after I released the adventure.
Here it is.

WAIT I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING
YOU DIDN'T SAY THE STUFF ABOUT YOUR REVENGE IN THE CVP TOPIC
YOU SAID IT IN THE COLLAPSED RUINS TOPIC

DP
BRO
BRO
YOU NEED TO TELL ME HOW YOU DID THE EFFECTS WITH THE ARTIFACT PLACEMENT INTO THE FLOOR AT THE VERY END OF THE ADVENTURE
NOW I HAVE CVP INSPIRATION
BUT I NEED TO KNOW HOW YOU DID THAT
PLEASE
TELL ME
(Although I'll probably figure it out myself once I have downloaded the adventure in two weeks)

It's called the Generic Rectangle wop, I learned a lot about it from InvisibleWater's "Out of this World" adventure

Yeah, that's what I thought.
Also, that reminds me of another question I have:
How did you make the custom icon thingy do stuff?

You apply the texture to the GC wop, and the thing I did was set the GC wops and red voids to the ID corresponding to the teleporters I scale-adjusted. Then I put a series of commands that (in order) would change Amber's stance and expression, a command 9 to shake the area, set the lighting to a high red and a very low ambient, green, and blue light, and a command 1 to activate everything. Finally, there was a command 7 to transition over to the volcano (?).

Perhaps I wasn't clear on what I meant. (I already knew how you did what you explained.)
How did you make the custom item usable and do the CMD 21?
Posted: Wed Jul 26, 2017 1:13 pm
by PhoenixBlaze
It wasn't usable..? if I know what you mean. I just used a repeatable CMD 21 and an FNC 5. It was just a normal item.

DERP
I'm thinking of something that's not in this adventure.
What was thinking of was:
How do you make an item go from saying "This item cannot be used here" to being usable.

This is becoming very interesting
I hope I'll get answers to all my questions in the next part
Puzzles are not so difficult but they are very fun
except water-crossing part, it is evil

You mean water-crossing part? That's left, at the beginning...
(I just saw this comment, I have not noticed it before

Oh, yeah, I was feeling kind of evil at that part.

I even got lost a few times myself.

wait this isn't updated 4 the last time you need to link TCL
Anyway, I got around to re-playing this one (not Oblivermillion), and, to be honest, I disliked the invisible ice sections very much. Other than that, I liked the lore and story in this adventure.

As you said, if I had the custom models, this would have been... well, a fair bit easier.
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
