How to change controls to WASD in WA Editor 0.96??

That's the legacy (outdated) version of the editor, right?

If memory serves correct, WA1 only worked with the Arrow keys, with no WASD support... It's possible the legacy editor doesn't support them either.

yes but i mean with hex editting or something. Also accept a hotkey that swaps functions of wasd and arrow keys. That will be better because they are other old games working with arrow keys

Hmm... I don't know much about hotkeys, but if you have a controller with a D-Pad, you COULD use that with the right software... You'd still be better off using a mouse for magic though. If you decide to do that, I suggest using Antimicro.

I've been able to play all the WA games & editors with a steam controller by using custom steam shortcuts and steam link. (It could also work with an Xbox controller, maybe a PS4 controller, but I don't own either of those.) However, I had to change the controls for the steam controller for it to work properly. Maybe I should take a video of myself playing with it sometime.

(If you want to use FinnThor's solution, Steam also supports the Switch Pro Controller. However, if memory serves correctly, it only works if Steam is in Big Picture Mode.)

Yeah, they added support for it sometime last year. I've been using Antimicro though for this kinda thing because 1. Steam didn't have this feature when I started using it, and 2. Big Picture doesn't perform well on my laptop.
