Finding Rainbow Stars

I think I have "Wonderland Mental Block". I've played & conquered almost every level in Secret Worlds, but the only Rainbow Star I have is from "Escape from the Void". Guess I wasn't paying much attention as I moved thru each level to collect the other Rainbow Stars. Do I have to replay all the levels again in order to try & collect the remaining stars????

Guess I'm "clueless" when it comes to reading clues -- what else is new!!!
Help, please. Thanks.

Hi Tasha,
The rainbow stars are only in Secret levels. You have to find them. They are separate to the other levels so you won't have to do them again.

But you will have to have a good look around the map to see where they might be.
Happy hunting.

Tasha - this happened to me too. I am assuming you have completed all the secret levels (if not ignore this). On entering The Void, I think it takes away your stars all except one - almost as an entry fee? I am hoping this is the case?
I was most upset when all my rainbow stars disappeared
Anyone else had this happen to them?

That shouldn't have happened Lillian.
You should have 8 rainbow stars at the end.
Mind you I haven't got that far in the game proper so I can't say for sure. But I don't think it's been changed from the beta version.

Lillian:
What did you do when this happened -- if anything?? As I played thru the whole game I wasn't paying any attention to the Rainbow Star count in the upper left hand corner of the screen -- only to the count of Gold Stars. Therefore, when I completed the entire game & the last level -- Escape from the Void" that's when I noticed that I only had 1 star and couldn't move on!! Oh me, oh my, where to go from here -- this is depressing & frustrating

I haven't completed all of the Void so I am not sure what happens. You could send Patrick a pm. If you do, could you please let me know the result. Good luck - it must be awfully disappointing for you and well done for comleting it all
I may go back and re-do a secret level, even though I have all yellow blobs for the secret levels and see if it changes my count?

I just replayed a secret level and it stayed on 1 star

Hi All,
Entering The Void does not take away any of your Rainbow Stars.
Throughout the map prior to The Void there are the 6 secret levels to be found.
Then there is the 1 in The Void making 7 so far.
Then if you read the clues in the Log Cabin area of Forever Forest you should know what do wlth those that you have to turn the 7 into 8
If you replay a secret level that you have already attained the Rainbow Star for you do not get another.
Hope this helps,
Malcdelsol

Good explanation Malc, I was in the process of drafting something similar, when you posted yours. Just an additional word of reassurance, if at some point you notice that rainbow coins disappear, this is supposed to happen, but if you move forward, you can replace them and perhaps "gain a little ground."

I'm getting confused now.
As far as I know rainbow coins you've collected don't disappear at all, until perhaps the very last level.
Gold stars go up and down as you complete levels and move into new areas. All the fees are paid in gold stars apart from the very last one.
Isn't that right?

Hi popo,
Let's be clear that there are no COINS in Secret Worlds except for BONUS coins.
You collect a Gold Star for completing a level - these are then used to pay your Toll into other Worlds as you continue through the Map.
Then there are the secret levels that give you Rainbow stars.
You need 8 of these to get to the very final level of the game.
6 can be found prior to The Void, there is 1 in The Void itself and finally there is a place that will take 5 away and give you the opportunity to get 6 more in return.
Therefore 6 + 1 - 5 + 6 = 8

Sorry, I meant rainbow stars.
I have never noticed that any disappear. What's the point of you collecting them for them to disappear?
This 'place' you're talking about, I thought you just got one from there to add to the rest.
I will make sure I take notice when I get there.

I've been and had a look, and yes you do need 5 rainbow stars to get to that place. I have never noticed that before. Has it changed since the test version?

Malc --
I also apologize for the confusion, I meant rainbow stars.
Popo, I believe that this has been the same throughout.

Am on my way backtracking to collect Rainbow Stars -- so far I have 4. Will keep you posted when & if I get to the final destination & what the count is at that point.
I have to again congratulate everyone who "had a hand" in designing this game. It's so much fun to follow the map & try to find all these "secret" locations" -- so glad all the Wonderlanders are so willing to help when I feel like a dunce

Needing help again. Not sure if doing right thing with boxes, I can get across the lake, but the elfin (rainbow colored thingy) always leave two coins behind. Can get a box on the red, blue and white buttons. How man boxes are needed? Any hint would be a cherished hint.

Redirect the Rainbow Spirit
while you are building your bridge. (i.e. let it grab all the outside coins and then make it change direction by leaving the 2nd box on top of the 1st; he'll soon grab the other 2 coins and you can continue building).
Hope this helps.
