Hi - very newbie here but I haven't needed help until now! Can anyone tell me, is there anyway to figure out the Stinker's Rescue maze without sound - 'cos my stupid 'puter doesn't have any! It is driving me crazy!

Not really.

You could try using Alt-X and going down into the floor so you can see what's inside the walls. If you've never done this before you have to press Alt and X together and then navigate around with the numberpad keys. 9 takes you up, 3 takes you down, 7 rotates you round so you are looking down (birds eye), 1 rotates you so you are looking side on (as if you were in the game), 4 & 6 move you left and right, 8 & 2 move you up and down. Using a combination of these you can get yourself in a position where you can see just under the top surface of the walls in the maze.
