Since this is a question regarding the newsletter, I'm posting it here and I hope it's the right spot!
8. There Is A Secret Ending To Wonderland Secret Worlds

That’s right! Rescuing the Stinkers is not the end of Wonderland Secret Worlds! Only a handful of people have found the secret ending so far, and they have been sworn to secrecy. So don’t expect anyone to share any hints on how to reach this ending. You are completely on your own for this challenge. Just know that there might be a little more puzzle and adventure in your future, even if you solved every level, found every bonus coin, and rescued all the Stinkers.
I'm a little confused :?
Can anyone elaborate?
Does this mean there is more to Secret World's or a new game continueing on where SW left off?

You are completely on your own for this challenge.
:)

Even for knowing what to look for, I'm afraid.

If anyone does find the secret ending, they will understand why this secrecy is necessary. And for those who have no clue where to look - don't worry, you might stumble on it by accident in five years. Just imagine what kind of surprise you'll get, then. :)

I'm such a tease. I know.

Way outta my league. The main levels and getting coins are hard enough
I must find bonus coins that are scattered in to this. You can count me out patrick, but yet i have an urge to know.

And that is so not fair, Patrick

Now, now, Lisa; surely it was just as fair for those people Patrick describes as.
Only a handful of people have found the secret ending so far
They didn't know it was there either, until they found it.

Well done to all who have found the secret.

Great job Patrick & team. Give yourselves a big pat on the back.
I really enjoyed Stinkys' Family Album, the "fanged" Stinky was a hoot looked kinda possessed to me.

Really glad to hear we'll be getting a Free upgrade to Platinum, I guess I really need to get off my duff & buy RTWD now.

I found this most interesting.
"That’s right! Rescuing the Stinkers is not the end of Wonderland Secret Worlds! Only a handful of people have found the secret ending so far, and they have been sworn to secrecy."

I'll bet Old Bearsland is included in that handful.

Looking forward to the next edition, thanks for all the effort & work.

P.S. Is this a valid e-mail address? When I try to use is I get a "invalid syntax error" is it me or what??? :?infos@midnightsynergy.com

Before any fight breaks out about the Secret Ending: :)

There really will be no hints.

Why?

This is perhaps a little old-school, but many games of years past had special hidden features or other reward for particularly adept players. It could take a player months/years to figure out that there even _is_ something extra to be found, much less actually get to it.

In six months of Secret Worlds there are only a handful of people who have seen the special ending. I don't expect many more too join the list (even knowing there's something there). It is truly a secret of secret worlds.

And believe me, the way it is set up you will only enjoy the third ending if you actually find it yourself. Otherwise, it will be meaningless. Gotta trust me on that. :)

So, feel free to ponder where it might be or what you might need to do, and explore. Or just chalk it up to one of those mysteries that might forever remain unexplained.

And let's leave it at that.

Please.

:D

Excellent newsletter Patrick! Great layout, nice and easy to read and it looked really neat too. There seems to be something in there for all the family. My children will do Peegue's maze, my logical husband will do the star puzzle and there is lots for me to do too!

Great stuff - well done 8) :P 8)

Unfortunately I posted on the General Discussion Board before I realized there was a separate section for Feedback. Sorry about that :!: :!:

Bear, I guess you deleted the part about playing again!
Well the truth is, I'm not sure I could make it thru again, but hey, what the heck, I'll take a quack at it :D

They can be done, Will. Keep at it.

Patrick had them double tested and confirmed 'do-able' by a very Grumpy puzzle player. :D :D

If the Grumpy tester was our dear Bear - the rest of us won't stand a chance.
I have to say it was lovely to get the first issue of the Midnight Post and I look forward to the next.
Can't wait for our upgrade either - now there is a treat for Christmas.

Congratulations Patrick. You and the Gang have scored big again

I don't know how you manage to continue coming up with such Wonderlandful ideas.
Guess that's why you're where you are, and we're out here.

Just love the magazine and am already looking forward to the #2 issue.
Did you say it will be weekly :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: (just kidding).

I bet Loofie's glad he didn't end up being Stinky's dog - and alien dinosaurs ? ? ? As you so aptly wrote: (gulp).

Platimum Edition - that sounds great too.

Thank you so much for all your Wonderlandful work and creativity - without all of you we would be leading such
dull, boring, normal lives - we might even have time to consider "re-organizing" again

("Oh, no", she's heard to mutter as she continues spinning helplessly in place. "Not that again? I've forgotten how".)

Please don't ever leave us - we need you

Very nice Patrick.
Platinum Edition? OOOOhhhh... I can hardly wait! (More levels that I probably won't be able to do...)
Will it also contain new elements for the editor?
Thanks.

Excellent Newsletter, Patrick! I really enjoyed it. One suggestion about the "MY Top Levels" list with a deadline of October 25th. Could the deadline be pushed back into November? With 4 games and over 3000 custom levels, it will be hard to quickly come up with those lists. Just a thought. :D

solved them! They were just solved.
Thanks for having faith in me bear!

Thanks everybody for the positive feedback - glad you enjoyed it.

Janet - the Platinum Edition definitely offers new elements. That's, in fact, the main point of the update.

Gen - I'm not going to delay the official deadline - but I'm certain I can accept some late entries as well (i.e. 1 or 2 weeks late, or so). BTW, I really hope ALL of you will send in a list. Your participation is definitely required for this one. :)

Oh goody! How many? Are you giving hints?
Maybe that will be the kick in the butt I need to start making levels again!!
Can't wait. :)

Sounds like to me it would be in December, since Patrick said no hints till Decembers issue :?
God I just hate waiting for games- I play Nancy Drew and they only make 2 each year. It's a bear waiting

I'm a new poster but have been playing the wonderland games for roughly 5 months. I'm totally hooked! The first issue was really good. I know I'm going to have to purchase the rest of the game pack. As for some of the levels, they do kick my butt, but after dying like, I don't know, thousands of times :) I do get them.

My guesses are: 3 conveyer belts. More themes. More music. Custom music. New characters Baddies. Toxic waste.

I have just read the excellent first edition of Midnight Post, sorry for the delay but I was otherwise engaged.

Thank you for the mention about our little gathering in N. Ireland Patrick, I hope this will encourage others to give it a go.

Who would have believed this forum would have got so big and popular???

Congratulations Mr. Maidorn, you have created a very nice monster.

I really enjoyed the Newsletter, and finding out some of the history of the game design.

Love the puzzle page too, and so does my Dad (86 years old and not a computer person).

Can't wait for the upgrade ... :D 8) :D
