WSW Ice Cave

Help! I have been able to get three of the lava holes filled. When I get to Loof's room, I have the 3 metal boxes and the one wooden box. How do I kill the Kaboom! without using the metal boxes? I would really appreciate the help. I've looked at the online solution and get part of the level figured out but Loof's room is killing me.
