I was honestly trying to pay him his penny. But after I collected the coins he seemed to be exploded. So I kept my money and exited. Fun level

Yes this was explosive fun! Didn't know what to do for a while but then the penny for the guy dropped and I got home with the gold.

Kaz. Well when I got over the river Thames, That dangy fire went out, So I kept my penny, Found a couple more and left with the gold. Thanks for the fun.

That guy was giving away pennies, not taking them. I left a present for him on the other side of the river. He must have liked it because he never came back. Great fun, Thanks!

That was great fun Kazbag - took some time to get my timing with the barrels/conveyor

My poor puddycat has been hidng under the bed all week - I think it has been Dwalhi (can't spell that) too - so fireworks galore around here all this week already. Is your bunny scared of them too?

Got this from a BBC website:-

Bonfire Night is celebrated across the UK on 5 November. The date marks the failed attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament by Guy Fawkes1 along with a group of co-conspirators in London in 1605.

The intention was to kill King James I and wipe out everyone in government. The group were Catholic extremists who wanted to return England to the Catholic faith. One of the conspirators had a friend in the Houses of Parliament and sent a letter to him, warning him to stay away from the House on the day the attack was supposed to take place. The letter was intercepted and handed to the king.

Meanwhile, Guy Fawkes and friends, having formulated their plan, known as the 'Gunpowder Plot', had rolled 36 barrels of gunpowder into the cellars of the Houses of Parliament, and were waiting for the king to arrive when guards broke in and arrested them. They were tortured and executed.

Nowadays on Bonfire Night people organise their own parties or attend big organised fireworks displays. They stand around the bonfire, set off fireworks and eat lots of nice warming Bonfire Night foods, like sausages and jacket potatoes.

Which explains the level ... coincidentally we have Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Light which lasts five days and starts on the 1st November and also Muslim festival of Eid al-Fitr on 4th November so it's fireworks every night all night for us Brits this week.

They started about 5 hours ago tonight and haven't stopped yet, luckily my pets aren't bothered by them - the sky is a real picture and the air smells of gunpowder. Tomorrow night is normally the big night for huge civic bonfires and then the air REALLY smells smoky.

Here endeth the lesson ...

Great fun, Kaz. Thanks for the explanaton. When I read the title of the level I thought of Guy Fawkes, but didn't know when the day was. Glad you enlightened me.

Tricky timing getting those barrels in place -- had a few explosions, but everyone enjoyed the fireworks

In Watford we also have a firework display to celebrate the turning on of the Christmas lights - that happened last night 3rd Nov. So there's been no let up at all in the explosions!

It took me a few minutes to figure out exactly what to do but once the light bulb went off I was able to collect the cash and head home. I didn't have to pay a penny either.

I feel really really stupid, but maybe it's because I'm not British?, buty, the whole "penny for the guy" thing is lost on me. I read all the posts and tried to read between the lines. I puzzled over who the guy was and how I could even give him a penny. I figured out the timing on the barrells, but couldn't get to the coin in the fire, until my brilliant 7 year old walked in the room, took one look at it and knew exactly what to do.
I must be getting old!
