New level - Screamer

Remember:
If stinky stands on a square button, and loof moves over a timed or circular button, the square button will not be effective, and the gate will close after loof steps of the circular button, or the timed button expires
Two-way conveyor belts, have there direction reversed after something touches them, this is also the case if the conveyor belt has been stopped by the respective button, you will need to remember this to complete the level.
This one has a couple of ways of finishing, some items may not be needed.

Hi BIGZIPZ,
Excellent logic puzzle
Going to admit that on this one I played with the timer off to work it out before completing it again - but then I only finished with some 20 seconds to spare
Thanks,
Malcdelsol

How on Earth did I miss this???
There have been some great puzzles posted lately; LNS's and Malc's among them, but in my opinion this is by far the
best level I have played for a long time. It's
exceptionally clever.
Utterly brilliant, Mark. An absolute cracker.

I have to say, I can't do it like this, (just me, I suppose). I always leave the timer on. I love the feeling of getting closer and closer to solving within the time. Makes the puzzle more enjoyable; but as I said, that's just me.

I agree OB, HOWEVER, when it's one of those levels (usually Discgolfer's) that only gives you 10 seconds, I have to play with the timer off the first few times JUST TO SEE WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO DO!!!!!!

If people wonder why I don't normally post comments on levels, its cos I don't play them :/
I prefer building over playing heheh

I would really love to see your comments on some of my levels - although they'd probably be something like - "too easy" "not challenging enough" etc., etc. Oh well - just think you should try other people's levels I guess!

I am still on world 2 of the official levels

I play too many games :/
Right now I am addicted to a game called Worms World Party

"WORMS" - oh yeah - my son is into that & I CAN'T GET HIM AWAY FROM HIS COMPUTER! The only addiction I understand is Wonderland!

I DO have to add tho, if you have time to MAKE a level, you have time to at least TRY a level or two and comment!!!!!!!!!

(C'mon! What've ya got to lose!)

Hi Wonderlanders,
So far in all of the official Wonderland and custom levels this is the only level that I have played first with the 'timer off' - HONEST
Normally, like others I like the challenge of learning/completing a level in the alloted time
Com'on BIGZIPZ - try some of our levels - feedback from another level-maker, good or bad, is always valid
Start off with my 'PIRATES' level and then move onto more difficult levels after that

I agree majic1!
How would you feel BZ, if nobody commented on one of your levels?
I refuse to believe you if you say, you wouldn't care!
It's the same with OB, although he does comment on a lot of levels.
I get the impression that some are not even worthy of any sort of feedback!
There are a lot of people like myself on this forum, who give feedback on every level, once they have completed it.
I'm sure we all just love to see new levels posted each day, I know that I do.
So, why not give some encouragement to the authors???
That's my tuppence worth anyway!

Well it's not like no-one is commenting on the other levels after they play them, I just never get round to playing any levels, I've dug myself in with too many games and forums, thats my problem.

If I got round to playing em, I would!

You're being bit unfair on me there Maureen. I
did reply to to asking me about this in Malc's Pirates level thread:
I wrote:The reason I don't post for every level is simply because it's just too hard to track where I have posted and I personally feel it's not always necessary. I've posted many personal tributes here to the level designers, they all know how much I enjoy their levels, so no need to post about every one. If someone, (e.g. jg or majic1 or eeyore) posts a set of levels on one theme, I'll post once commenting on the set. Much easier.
I do make a point of posting on exceptional levels though. Which is why I always post about the levels from some people and not others.
I enjoy a bowl of Corn Flakes every morining, but I don't phone or write to Kellogs everyday telling them how good they were.
As for Mark BigZ, I feel it is very unfair to question his commitment to the forum at all. He provides us all with fantastic puzzles and some great comic relief every now and then. If he chooses neither to play some levels or comment on others, that's up to him.
Perhaps instead of on picking on the members who don't post in every thread, it would be better to single out the 40-50 people who are downloading the levels and posting bugger all.

More than 40-50

Total Members = 319
-Never made a post = 219 = 68% of the forum

I stand very corrected Sir.
Well, I have made about 250 posts, so that makes me a good guy in my book.

Bearsland,
I am not picking on anyone!
I'm sure BZ is big enough to stand up for himself, sure, everyone can do what they like, play, comment or whatever.
I wasn't using "bully boy" tactics, I am also entitled to an opinion, am I not?
If you read all the posts, you will see that I have directed comments to the people who download and don't give feedback.
I have only made a handful of levels, I go on my soapbox for the people who are continuously churning out levels and don't get much in return.
A lot of these authors don't like to ask for feedback, it's embarrassing for them.
Yes, Mark does put good levels into the forum and gives a laugh, nobody disputes that!
My point was, he obviously enjoys the feedback so why not reciprocate!
As for the Kellogs comment, I think that is totally unfair of you.
They don't care if you write to them about their product, the people on this forum do!
Anyway, I will not get involved any further with this thread, it seems to me that the least thing I say is taken as an insult or I'm treading on somebodies toes!
BTW BZ, I assumed you played the levels, you don't know unless you ask!
Maureen.

I go on my soapbox
What does that mean? I have heard it said before on a website in the context:
"before I get back on my soapbox"
What does it mean ?
Posted: Sun Apr 18, 2004 4:02 pm
by Davimad
When people wanted to make a speech, they used to stand on a "soapbox".
I think this originated from Speakers corner in London.
When someone had something to say, on the soapbox they went and the crowds would mill round them.
You may be Bigzipz, but it seems I am Bigmouth!
majic1, thanks for the support. I'm always in trouble.

NO - you are RIGHT! Just think about it - if noone EVER made ANY comments on bigzipz' levels, do you think he would keep submitting them? I really doubt it!

BigZip, my son is the same way. He will play a few levels, but he's more a creator than a player.

He likes to watch me play, though and helps me out when I get stuck. He can usually see the solution. Freightrain is a gifted stradegist!

It takes all types to make a successful community and I always try to make allowances.

What some of the others are trying to tell you is that they would really value your insight on a few of their levels.

You are a gifted creator and others value that in you.

After all this time, I DID IT!
What a great feeling of satisfaction I have.
This level was sooooooo clever Mark, well done.

I'm afraid, BigZip, that I am one of those guilty of not making a post. I have now played several dozen levels and have been so caught up in the excitement of finishing a level and then getting onto the next one, that the thought of commenting on any particular levels never once entered my mind. Never, that is, until I read these postings under the Screamer Level. I will endeavor to contribute in the future and please consider this my first posting. This level is fantastic and I am still trying to line up the reflectors. I hope that I did this correctly and that this posting is successful.
