I've just had a look at your textures Will, there very good, but I think you need to resize some of them.

Some are over 500 pixels wide and high and not square.

Patrick suggests they be 64x64 pixels, but if you make them any bigger they need to be in power of 2 format. That is 64x64, 128x128, 256x256. I don't think they need to be any bigger than that.

You may find they work for you in odd sizes, but a lot of us can't see them unless they are in power of 2 format and it would be a shame if we can't all see them, wouldn't it.

Will, are those free for use? I like the look very much

I've made a set now. It's a little bit Chinese-y with a dragon motif on the walls. In a sort of orangy brown colouring.

A little test level so you can see the various bits.

I see people downloading the level about 2/3 more times then the actual textures. Although I was expecting the textures to be dowloaded more times since it was the primary focus of this post, it puzzles me why this is so. I mean, you can't even play the level without the textures,and its kind of silly to not download the actual texture because the forum is called "Custom Content". The evidence is up top. Just wanted brng attention to the community on how pointless a level is without its model. Please, dowload these wonderful models that popo,robbie,janetgalle and other great model makers of the community who put a lot of time and effort into their work.

Will - this always happened with CustomModels, so I'm not surprised to see it happening with CustomTextures. Some people can't or won't deal with the couple of extra minutes it takes to extract a zip folder.

It's their loss - I think the new Textures and Backgrounds are great.
