Help-RTW Custom Checkers by OldPete

I've tried, but can't seem to do any better than all rainbow coins and 15 of the 24 bonus coins. This is a .LV file not .LV5 and the level name is "or Draughts".
I know I'm missing something, so please help me out.

If you read the note that Old Pete put in the level he says there that you can't get all the coins and 15 is the best. He seems to have made it that way - so no you aren't missing anything - a gold star does not seem attainable on this level. Hope this helps - and if anyone else can say how to get the gold then please don't hesitate to inform us

I did several searchs trying to find the original posting. I searched "Checkers", Draughts, and "OldPete". I didn't find anything related to this level. Can you tell me how to find the original posting??

"note" in the the

This is odd! The version of checkers .LV which I have has a note on the level which reads:
"you cannot get all bonus coins but i think 3750 is the highest"
This is wrong anyway, because the lowest score I got was 3830 and the highest was 6500. Still 15 coins the best though.
I also have checkers2 where it is possible to get all coins.

You're correct. My version of Checkers is exactly like yours and I did completed Checkers2 with all coins collected.
I guess OldPete needs to work on Checkers a little bit more. I really hate it when I come across levels I can't complete. I keep going over and over and over them 'til I'm so frustrated I finally give up and search the forum for help.
Please, don't anyone be offended!! I really like everyone's levels and I realize a lot of time a effort goes into creating each and every one!!!
