The Wonderland Board

I have problems killing the kabooms. When I try to trap them with boxes I'm either too fast and miss them or else when they are in between boxes I can't push the box till too late and then they escape and kill me. I've had this problem all through the games. Is there any special "hint" or way to kill these before they kill me?

I don't know if there's any "special hint" to blowing those things up. I have found it took the right timing & a "hair-trigger finger"

Usually If I have enough free room I'm waiting for Kaboom to totally escape, then pushing the boxes except the last one, and when the Kaboom will come, I'm trapping him with final push.
