simple level, yummy recipe. Mom got it out of a Grange book, back when I was about 5 or 6 (40 years ago) under Belgian deserts.

(not much time to play lately, trying to enjoy new levels when I can, keep up the good work!!)

Fun level eeyore. Isn't it nice to have memories like the one you were speaking of. I remember many happy times in the kitchen with both my mom and my grandmothers. I cherish those memories. :D

The recipe sounds yummy. Definately not low carb though! Doesn't matter to me, as I don't diet.. If it's okay with you, I'm going to add both recipes to my cook book. :)

This was so cute...an eeyore special!

If you rolled these while they were hot, then when they cool, you could fill them with ice cream! If you stick a tiny marshmallow in the bottom, the ice cream won't drip.
Did you have these for breakfast or for desert?
I will make some for the kids on Mother's Day!
Thanks eeyore :D

It would be an honor, Sharon :D I told my mom about sharing grammas sugar pie recipe....and she was so glad that it wouldn't die along with our family :)

We had these for desert, ol' gramma Carolyn......but my favorite breakfast WAS homemade regular waffles with LOTS of butter and syrup :D
Ice cream/marshmallow idea sounds mmmmmmmmmm good.
