RTWPLATINUM world 7 level 8 Hot stuff

been struggling with this level for a few days and finally figured out how to kill the kaboom and get the 3 coins! I was collecting the coins and then trying to kill the kaboom---wrong!!! 
leave the coins and trap the kaboom between the left coin and the bottom. Did this on the first try. 
now on to the next level.
