I saw the title. I started the level. I thought, WOW! It is just like the bijou. (Not that I've been there, but I've seen pictures and read books.)

And then you said it was easier, but those boxes gave me fits. Finally I thought to myself, "Self? If it's supposed to be easy, then do something easy" So I did and wouldn't you know that it worked otu just fine. I was overthinking it!

And then the houses. I ws pretty worried when I saw the doormat, but your hospitality took my fears away. Very kind of you.

The atmosphere, the box puzzle, everything - excellent level.

:D :D :D That's what we call Southern hospitality

I'm from Chicago. The only southern hospitality around here is not flipping someone off when they cut you off in traffic.

Wait, the cat lives south of me and she's REALLY nice, so maybe there is something to the geography thing.

I'm confused (what else is new) isn't it 'bayou'? The 'Bijou' is the name of a famous movie theater. :?

From a fellow Canadian, Bob, I thought "Bijou" in french was jewel :?: :?:

It is jewel in french. Is Kiki talking about the french quarter in New Orleans?

Kiki, we need answers! Where are you? You've confused Canadians!

It's usually spelled bayou, but in some dialects, it's also seen as bijou. I think maybe more locally. At least that's what I was told when I asked around.

Had the hardest time with the boxes! Kept coming up short or couldn't get them all in the water! Finally got a clue on the outside edge and everything fell into place! Quite a nice challenge, Kiki!

I don't think this one is easy at all Keeks :stinkyeek: :stinkyeek:

Just can't get past even the first bit with the boxes. I'm cut off every time, or I trampoline into water.

You have a very devious brian (brain too  )

Keeks, sure we knew what "Bayou" you meant -- we was justa being "smart a--es" :!: :!: Hope we didn't annoy you.

I tried to play the level but couldn't even get past the boxes -- kept getting stranded in the middle of nowhere!! Once I managed to get to the other side but then didn't know where to go & was sinking in quicksand. Like some of the others, could use some HELP. Thanks.

:D :D :D a wee hint for the box part--

Spoiler---Push box left and follow.
Push box down follow and push that box, But do not follow.
Step up one tile and push box right and follow and collect coin.
Push box in wall up tile and leave for now.
Push box down into water and follow
Walk to bottom of the right box and push up and left into water collect coin.
Get coins on the conveyor.
Tramp sequence is this, step on conveyor tramp right as the ice returns you tramp up, This happens fast, so be ready.
After coins have been collected push the box onto the conveyor and follow onto the tramp and push it into water.
From below the tree step right and push that box across the conveyor and into water and follow.
Push box up onto two way conveyor and wait til it passes, Then follow and collect the coin in upper left corner.
Tramp down and step right push box into water and tramp over and collect bonus coins, The ice cube is a stopper for the bottom of the generator, Then to cover the aqua button. This should get you going. If you need more let me know what area. Good Luck.

I still have a Creedence Clearwater Revival album kicking around somewhere Keeks, so yes, I knew what 'bayou' you were referring to, but I thought that maybe 'bijou' was a creole spelling or old-time reference to the area. There's a lot of history down there and the melding of different cultures and dialects can produce some interesting linguistic treats!

Sorry for the confusion pal. :)

BTW, I had a wicked time figuring out the boxes, finally realized there was another way to place 'em where I wanted!

Goodfun, thanks

Thanks for the spoiler, Kiki. Finally managed to get thru -- took awhile even with your hints. Kept stepping where I shouldn't have & then had to begin again

Your designing never ceases to amaze me :stinkyroll: :stinkyroll:

Excellent level - but I needed your walkthrough on the box section  Very clever and intricate and also very atmospheric :? As usual - I really enjoyed playing it again and again    I could do the box section in about 30 seconds eventually as I played it so many times

Great stuff - many thanks :P
