Happy Birthday Loiraeeeeeeee !!!

I wasn't going to post this level because it's such a Stinker! But I didn't want to leave the gift all wrapped up with nobody to open it either.

Code: Select all

Hint: A barrel can stop a sphere from rolling.

I'm thinking of re-gifting this one!

Been pushin' barrels and balls for 20 minutes to no avail. I can get 3 coins, like the rest but not 4

I'll take another run at it tomorrow. Thanks, JD

Even with a little inside help it was still a bear to work out!

But I was successful and now I need a drink!

Thanks Mark,

I finally figured this one out! I tried and tried the other night but just couldn't get it solved! Gave it another crack tonight and everything fell into place! Awesome feeling to collect my gold star on this level!

Like most others here, I can only get a maximum of 3 coins - and it felt like a miracle when I managed that.

Such a fantastic puzzle with so few game elements. But I don't think I'll ever complete it without help! :stinkyred:

Code: Select all

Here are my opening moves:
Legend: N= North S= South E=East W=West

I first push the N sphere left, N barrel all the way right.
Push E barrel all the way down. Push S barrel against the S sphere
to keep it from rolling right later. Push W sphere down and W barrel up all the way. Now push the N sphere right...

I use both snowmen and one ice cube to line up the last sphere.

My birthday wish is that this would work! but it didn't. I followed it step by step by step and When I push the N sphere right at the end, it just rolls all the other boulders (but the south one) right and the N sphere ends up against the exit ice cube. Nothng is exploded. And I'm still lost.

Thanks so much for the walkthrough Jordan.

At last I've done this one. It was the ice cube block which I needed, and which was causing me the mental block.

Excellent puzzle. What a brainbox you are to be able to think of these things.

Difficult indeed!

Here is my video-solution, poor quality as usual: I'll appreciate if someone can reproduce it and/or copy it to a more secure web-site.

It was great to solve, Thanks Mark!!!

It's interesting, when Mark mentioned his aliases when commenting on Chip's list I immediately decided to replay his Jordan32 levels. And the beauty of aging is that I had almost forgotten them completely so they were all wonderfully new and fun...except this one.

I had to come looking for a hint...again.

Thanks Mark, it just goes to show that the old levels are not totally mothballed.

And I wonder, judging from all of Amnon's comments if he didn't have the same thought as I did, to revisit Jordan32.

Actually, what prompted me to play Jordan32, was Mark's recent comment that he has five faces: http://www.pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic ... 202#349546

I have never played these levels before.
