Victory at Minas Tinroof!

Help our heroes to defeat the hordes of Moredread. Paragorn's (Peegue's) part is probably the most dangerous, but there is an easy way and a hard way (scoring more points of course). It's up to you.

Please download the model file - it does add to the story and appearance.

Using the minastinroof texture which you probably have already.

ONWARD TO VICTORY!

Loved the models and the play, Liz! It was fun working out each character's role. The battle has been won and I went home with the gold. Thanks for loads of fun! :D

VICTORY IS OURS! :!: :!: Another awesome puzzle oin the series, Lizzie. Made too many mistakes to count but eventually found the right route & everyone made it home safely. Luved the floating action &, of course, luved watching all the critters (at least most of them) explode. The models were terrific & fit right in with the theme. All are ready for their next adventure :!: :!: 8) 8) 8)

:D :D :D With their oath fulfilled the ghost warriors are free at last and the battle for Minas Tinroof is over,
That was an epic battle Liz. I enjoyed working through this one alot, had the most trouble with that dratted green cannon, After i got past that point I didn't know why for it really wasn't that bad at all,
Thanks for another great one, I will miss these awesome levels when this series is over you are such a great story teller. :D :D :D

Excellent adventure level Lizzie as per norm, Norm 8) Loved the models and signs :D I couldn't work out how to get the coins in the circle of fire at the beginning for ages - was even trying to get Quookie to help with her metal box  But that old  came on after a while crocodile 8)

Loved it - MORE MORE MORE! :D :D :D

All the models were awesome, but the one where Qookie was slaying the monster, "Heeyaw! Take that!", Ok, that had me rolling on the floor!

Easy enough to put every thing together; just had a couple tries to get the blue spheres right. Awesome adventure!

Thanks!

Finally made some progress with this one. Mangaed to exit with all characters and got my gold. But I had to leave two rainbow coins :(
The same Lillie was talking about...

Thanks for a great level anyway :D

Sorry everyone - I didn't realise it was such a stinker.

Here's how to do the blue link sphere bit.

1 Kill the kabooms by pushing the barrel up the conveyors.
2 Push the lower blue sphere right, up, left. Walk over the blue timer switch and then push the sphere down and right. The linked sphere has now put out the flames and you can collect the 2 coins.
3 Now push the first blue sphere up and right (to squash the chompers). Wait for the last 2 chompers to line up below the conveyor, and push the sphere down. This squashes the chompers and activates the timer button.

If anyone needs help on other bits, let me know. 8)

what about the steward's son??? :?

I'm not quite sure what you mean about the steward's son.

If you follow the directions for the blue spheres in my post above, all the flames are extinguished around the steward's son. Then you just have to pick up the coins avoiding the circulating sphere.

You've saved him from being burned alive.
Medical assistance will be reaching him shortly.

Is this the part you meant, or was it another bit of the level?

Hi Liz,

This game is too old to play and I didn't keep the old version of RTW that works with this model.

Should I just edit out the model, or would you like to edit this so it works?

Hi Amnon

I've posted the revised models at the top.

Like I said in the fairly recent post for Coin Quest 1, the entire pack of levels, textures and models was revised so that it works with modern graphics cards. Patrick made a feature of it in the Midnight Post issue 6:

http://www.midnightsynergy.com/newslett ... /page4.htm

You can unzip the entire package in the Platinum Edition and everything will automatically go to the correct file, thanks to Patrick.

Yes, I made it with the revised model - very nice.

In once case I managed to complete the level without releasing the ghost army.

Thanks!

is the steward's son still alive after that? :?

Yes, Faramir the Steward's son lived on:
The Stewardship passed to Faramir, who remained in the Houses of Healing for a time and was later made Prince of Ithilien by Aragorn.
