I'm the first!!!! Not sure I did it your intended way Ant.
I didn't need to use the green timer, nor the boulder that came out, nor the metal boxes (only to trap the botty on the yellow button).
Ace little puzzler and it looked cool - many thanks :D

Part of what you did was the correct way to do so:
The boxes were actually meant to trap the bot on the aqua button. I don't see why you would want to trap him on the yellow button, unless if you confused aqua for yellow due to the color change. If you're talking about the link sphere from the generator as "The boulder that came out", then it was only meant to make the Kaboom take a different path so that you could take the ice block and destroy it, thus activating an ice block generator and covering the yellow button (I'm really confused by the aqua and yellow buttons. :P) And in my solution, you only needed to use two of the link spheres at the beggining of the level, you were supposed to destroy the other one, thus allowing you to activate the ice block generator after destroying the ice block and then covering the yellow button, thus allowing a boulder to fill in the water and allowing you to advance to the Z-bot.

Sorry for the confusion - I did mix up the yellow with the aqua

I used all the sphere's - therefore I didn't need any normal boulders :D

Great level - thanks again :D

I did it the way Lillie said, used all the green spheres so I didn't need the generator. This was a great level to work thru. Even though there was alot left over it added to the mystery of the level - what to do when and where etc. Look forward to checking out the rest of your levels. :D :D

More than half of the level is in those link spheres, and there's a much easier solution.... But not anymore, I changed it. BWAHAHA! 8)

I had the most problems with the link spheres. I scratched my head for a good long while. But, I was pretty much brain-dead when it came to covering the light blue button. I used your spoiler, and it made perfect sense!

Thanks!
