I don't expect anyone to get this on their first try.

or my 10th or 20th or 30th.... am I not fast enough? I either die, or I end up with 2 of 3 buttons covered because for some reason the last one doesn't stick. And I think that's what's supposed to happen, but then I can't get the thing to do that thing.

There is one quick move, but it's not the one you think.
Timing is much more important, hence my sign.
It's all dependent on which direction you place your first foot forward.

I've been trying all sorts of things - including ducking in and out of the coilys' lair, but nothing seems to work
I think I need a "Mark hint"

Had many unsuccessful attempts. Finally did the same thing just slightly different and it worked out fine!

Finally got it, I just wasn't seeing the daylight through the forest, Thanks for the nudge Mark, Very ingenious in its trickiness, Thanks Bud.

Hi Theo,
You're on the right track!
The opening move is to go left after the 4th barrel enters the TP.
After that take only the first coin, so the generator produces one barrel.
There is a secret helper in the level who will appear to help you complete your journey.

I wait until after I see the 4th barrel vanish into the TP.
Then I hold the left arrow key down.
Stinky will cross to left side if you time it right.
Be sure not to cross too soon.
The timing is more important than speed.

Finally got fast enough to make it through. thanks for the notes that I was on the right track most of the time.

really good challenge, i wouldn't have got there without a hint but get there i did i was trying something that was impossible for a while, in fact, just getting close to what i was trying was harder than what i actually had to do

Tricky stuff
I counted to four and tried running around the generator. I was too slow.
I counted to four and jumped into the TP. The coilys were too fast.
I came here to read some hints and to learn that I was right. So I just (and just means only 50 more tries or so ) had to improve my timing.

I think that I need to do your levels as they come out, cause otherwise I'm not patient enough to figure it out on my own (when I get behind). So, in other words, I used your spoiler! Fabulous how you think of these things!

I loved this level and figured out the main idea pretty soon but had a heck of the time figuring out how to do it in the way that there's only one coily once something blows up the barrel. Really annoying.
Great level, otherwise. Very clever.
