I've been off playing the Level Packs the past week or so.
Eeyore31, I certainly enjoyed your "Week in Wonderland", "Mission in Space", and "A year in Wonderland". I completed all and really appreciate the effort and thought you put into each.
Majic1, I also enjoyed your "Dark and Stormy Night", "Fun with Z-Bots", and "Chomperland". All kept me entertained and thinking, but I finally made it through them.
Robbie, I am still working on the "Adventureland" series. I am enjoying them and find them creative and thought-provoking.
To all that entered the "Small World" contest, I liked yours also. They are very challenging. I was able to complete them all, EXCEPT for "Lightning" - I just can't make these fingers move fast enough and "Surprise" - I got right to the end and couldn't figure out how to exit.
So thanks to all of you!
Questions - the Level Pack called "All Level Packs as of May 3rd" - is this a pack containing the above mentioned Level Packs or is it all levels from the beginning up to May 3rd.
Will there be more Level Packs? I like the levels organized by Creator/Author. It would be nice to have more!

Hi Gen,
First, I'm so glad you enjoyed my level packs, and everyone elses for that matter!!!
I'm like you, I like to organize each level into the author/creator personal folder. Did you know you can do that? When downloading a new level----for example from Majic1---when you hit 'download' and it wants to put it directly into custom folders......you can hit 'new folder', name it Majic1, and open it, and download the level there.
I hope that helps, I'm not too good explaining stuff

Thanks for the suggestion, eeyore. You explained it very well. I just had not thought of that - Duh! I think I have some work ahead of me sorting and re-filing.
Thanks again!

Hi girls,
Didn't Patrick say, the new add-on would have the levels and authors included?
Maybe I was dreaming!!!!

Good morning, Maureen!!!!
I don't know, I'd have to re-read it. That WOULD be nice. I have about 30 or 40 levels in my 'more goodies' folder to sort out!!
I guess I don't pay close attention to details written.....all I kept hearing was 'new version' and just like when my school teacher was explaining all of the details about the blah blah blah blah blah....my mind was wandering off to a far away place..........where the sky is blue.......you never sweat......the birds have bows on their heads, and everything around you is a soft wavy blurr.

Good mornig to you too eeyore,
Yes, I know what it's like!
Head in the clouds, daydreaming...... Wouldn't it be nice if.........
That was me!
Now when I do it, IT'S PRE- SENILE DEMENTIA! HAHAHA.

P.S. Meant to ask. How did the job interview go?

Yes, I've got that coming on......er....who are you?
To Gen,
the 'All levels as of 3rd May' pack contains all the custom levels that had been posted up to that date.
Davimad,
Patrick said the new game would include all the custom levels but I can't remember if he said the database would be. I am hoping I can choose whether to download the custom levels or not. I wanted to start the new game with a clean slate, so I might have to buy the complete game instead of the update.
I've always meant to ask Robbie why he did the Adventureland 2 as separate levels and also as one big one but never got round to it, so perhaps he could tell me now. I did them all by the way, separately first and then the biggy.

This "Deluxe" version of Return To Wonderland will simply replace the original version on your hard drive, and include both all "classic" and "deluxe" properties.
The deluxe version will also come with a new set of "official" levels and come pre-bundled with a current set of the custom levels, sorted by user.
This answers the question about custom levels in the deluxe version!

Thanks majic1,
I'm so happy to find that I wasn't dreaming after all!
Suppose if I'd taken the time to LOOK, I would have found out for myself.
Maybe I'm just a lazy cuss!

Golly, thanks for all the good information. Y'all are the greatest!
eeyore, it looks like we can wait until the new version comes out since Patrick will be doing the work for us. I'm like you with the details, I read them, but sometimes don't "see" them.

It may be due to my mind being else where or it could be like Davimad - pre-senile dementia! I fit both categories.
Thanks again!

Oh goody, I like it when someone else does the hard part!!
NO WAY!!!! It CAN'T be PSD----we are ALL to young for that!!
No new job Mareen, I don't think anyone wants me, I'm still stuck at my el-stinko job

I guess I'll have to hit the lottery

but thanks for remembering and asking. I just put an application in to work for the State, we'll see

I hope you can get it eeyore. The benefits are usually pretty good with a state job and the pay isn't bad either.

I didn't like to ask about your other interview, in case you didn't want to talk about it. I'm sure you'll find something soon.

I applied for some clerical jobs after my mother died. Previously I had been raising my children and looking after my mother. But the fact that I'd not worked for so long, about 22 years, went against me.
I'm sure they think if you haven't got a paid job you must be retarded or something, the fact that I had passed nine typing and shorthand exams, including RSA III, didn't count for a thing. I also do my husband's accounts and tax return, but that doesn't mean much either.
I hope you have much better luck than me.
