New level (Advanced) - Monopoly

Post by popo » Thu Jul 29, 2004 5:58 pm

A silly little level to illustrate the use of custom floors.

If you use a dice you could turn it into a proper game.

I've made use of Linky's cage and chest (I had to alter the skin file to see it better, I touched it up in my photo package). The cards I did myself, and the floor, of course.

Hope you like it.

This level is great fun :!: :!: :!: :!:

I always loved Monopoly and It is the perfect match with Wonderland. Very good work, both for the level and for the model. :D :D

Very ingenious, Popo. You custom makers have added delights beyond what was already a delightful game.

That's such an awesome and creative use of custom models! 8) It's amazing to see how many new possibilities custom models can open up for us.

What can I say that hasn't already been said.
That was awesome!! Very inventive and not quite as annoying as the rainbow. :-)

If you can find jpgs of other board games, why not. The only ones I've seen are chess boards.

Yes Theox, he's my son. Butterscotchrjm is my daughter, too. The only one in the family we don't have registered is my husband. He prefers games where he can chat as he plays, like Pogo. :D

He should play Orbz-a very addicting 3D game where you shoot an orb at stars and score points-and on the multiplayer you can chat with people when you play!!
The downside is that it's $30 to register :?
Oh yeah... it's a mac game, you dont have a mac, do you? :| :| :|

No Theox, don't have MAC here. He likes games like backgammon, bridge, pool, poker, and lately pinocchle. :D He not really into computer-type games. Thanks for the suggestion though. :D

Hey SharonM,

My husband only plays games like that also. The few times he actually played Wonderland he had the same body language as me though...you know ripping out your hair, sighing and growling

I think he is a future adict in the making...I am still working on him

Popo, this was absolutely fantastic.

My mum used to call the game Monotonous, cos it went on so long.

Took me a while to figure it out, got it in the end.

Theo, I got a demo of Orbz for the PC a while back.

Thanks Popo.

Popo, I sure appreciate your creativity in designing this level. Where do you come up with the originality of such a level. Good work.
PS -- I am still getting wasted at the electric utility and still don't know how to get that last rainbow coin at the conveyor belt. Armando

:?: My daughter and I cannot figure out how to get the rainbow coin behind the dark blue gates. Obviously, we stepped on the dark blue spaces, and we heard a click, but nothing happened. (I know it's timed - we switched over really quickly.) We tried with both blue spaces, but nothing. Are we doing something wrong???

Thanks!

I'm not sure if the dark blue gates are controlled by the dark blue squares. Some of the colours match, some don't. They are all controlled, however, by the squares opposite them. For instance, the gates at the top on the left wall are controlled by the squares at the top on the right side of the board, and the gates at the left on the bottom wall are controlled by the squares at the left on the top side of the board, and so on.

Also, some of the coloured squares don't control gates but are timers for conveyors so that you can get out of jail, or off the train if you get on the wrong one, etc.

I'm not even sure if they are all timer switches, some may be round ones that you have to keep standing on.

If you press one and then have a quick look round with the shift key, you should see what it is controlling.

Watch out for the electric company, it's a doozy.
