What a humdinger you've cooked up this time!
I'm still working on it, Chip.

Hi
I'll be in the Swiss Alps for a few days - far away from any internet access.
If you have a question about this current level: Amnon is ready to help you.
And of course I'll fly Wonderland's flag up there...

Well I hope you enjoy your time in the Alps, Chip. :)
I am completely lost in the starts on this one.

This is a beautiful puzzle - it will be most rewarding to solve, but if you give up, here is the first move, quite a spoiler: Stinky goes north to the next area, leaving his wooden box behind. He needs Peegue's help to cross the gate, which once rendered, closes the door again behind him.

I've done that with and without the box and if I jump, Stinky gets trapped in a continuous circle.

Then don't jump (yet)!

If you are still at the beginning, there are lots of preparations first, so don't worry about the jump for now.

No clue what to do.
This level can be divided into two logical parts: The first part is to get all Stinkers free to leave the bottom area with all buttons there covered - that's classical Wonderland stuff. Let me know if you need help with it. The second part relates to Stinky's perpetual motion, which requires the cooperation of his friends, which therefore need to be free at that point. So let me know when the first is solved.

Unfortunately, neither part is logical for me. I have no idea how to rescue all four, or cover any of the buttons, and have no idea what to do after that.

I have no idea how to rescue all four, or cover any of the buttons
To cover the red button: Qookie kicks her green sphere up, which rolls over two transporters until it stops at the light-green gate. Stinky kicks it back down all the way to the red button.

To cover the light-green button permanently: Between Qookie's kick up and Stinky's kick down, Loof pushes his bottom metal box to the left and himself steps on the blue button. When his green sphere returns down, it is blocked by the metal box and Loof can kick it to the right.

To cover the yellow button: Either the yellow or red spheres can do, being kicked left or right, then down through the TP.

To cover the blue button: There's no need to cover it permanently, so one of the characters, usually Loof steps on it when needed.

To rescue all four from the bottom area: Stinky leaves first on his transporter, which he sends back down, to be re-used by Peegue. Loof and Qookie leave via the bridge they make from the two metal boxes over the top-left lava hole.

Waklthrough, part I

1. Stinky floats up, turns around and pushes wooden box down with transporter.
2. Loof pushes wooden box all the way left onto flame, then drops top metal box into top-left lava.
3. Qookie positions herself on yellow button.
4. Peegue goes all the way right, extinguishing flame with wooden box and standing on button.
5. Stinky crosses up the teleporter.
6. Peegue moves 2 steps left, leaving his button.
7. Qookie pushes green sphere up, then moves aside.
8. Peegue steps again onto light-green button.
9. Loof pushes metal box to the left, then steps on blue button.
10. Stinky steps down through teleporter, then pushes green sphere down.
11. Peegue takes bonus coin, then floats left and up.
12. Loof kicks green sphere to the right, then returns to the blue button.
13. Qookie floats up and left to help Loof: together they push the remaining metal box into the top-left lava patch, now everyone is free to leave.
14. ANY character (with the help of another character blocking the transporter) goes EITHER to the left of the red sphere OR to the right of the yellow sphere. All helpers clear the path and the red/yellow sphere is kicked left/right, then goes down through the teleporter onto the yellow button.

Thus ends the first part - the second is a whole new and exciting puzzle of a kind never seen before!

Thank you Amnon, I was able to do the second part without any problem.
That first part was too intricate for me.
I'm thinking Chip may have intended the Red Sphere for the Red button and the Yellow Sphere for the Yellow Button. Everything is color coded.

This was an Awesome Masterpiece, Chip! :D
Always original, inventive, challenging and fun! 8)

Amnon: Thanks so much for the Part 1 Walkthrough! I wasn't getting anywhere and all my best laid plans came to nothing.

After that, I wouldn't say I could do Part 2 without any problem, but after reeling about for several more hours the crew finally left the Isles of Vulcan with all the loot.

Chip - this is a fantastic level. Your imaginative inventions are marvellous. Thanks for all the work you've put into this.
:D 8) :D

Back from the top of Europe - with a backpack full of unforgettable impressions. :D
Thank you Amnon, Mark and Liz for playing and discussing the level during my absence.

Here's the video:
Amnon's walkthrough showed the most effective solution.
The video shows an alternate solution with few switches between the characters.
Enjoy! :)

Thank you for posting the solution Chip! :)

I just knew that the red and yellow sphere were intended for the red and yellow buttons,
but I couldn't figure out that move you did for the green sphere on the green button.
But it was beautiful and graceful as always! 8)

P.S. Hope your trip was fun!
