Post by Chip » Sat Aug 17, 2013 4:02 pm

Days Of Cosmic Encounters 24 & Epilogue

Within these walls lies the shrine
Opens once in the stream of time
Four seekers of kindhearted soul
Believing they will reach the goal

Discover the galaxy's deepest secret.
Unveil the one and first seed.
Find the origin of all life:

The Holy Grain

But don't expect to be alone... Have fun!

These are the final stages of my series 'Days Of Cosmic Encounters'.
Thanks to Amnon for testing the levels, and thanks to you for playing them.
I hope to start the sequel in early 2014.

I'm working on the Quest for the Holy Grain, but it's going to take me a long, long time. I can't get past the bone-crushing beginning for Stinky and Loof and I can't get Qookie and Peegue through the pink or green gates. I'm completely mystified.

I did the Epilogue of course. Loved the hilarious signs.

Loof is supposed to help them - is he in any trouble?

Hi Liz
Here's a hint about Loof's first steps:
1. Loof has three possible tiles to enter his room: He can either get the coin or step onto one of the conveyors.
2. One of the possibilities corresponds the best with the advice 'tame your greed'...
Hope it's a beginning. Good luck! :)

Hey Chris,

I'm going to need a walkthrough on Qookie's part, please. Your brain is far more developed than mine.

I'm going to need a walkthrough on Qookie's part, please.
Qookie's part:
1. Bottom-right cannon one up.
2. Leftmost cannon all the way up.
3. Bottom-middle cannon Up, left all the way and down over trampoline, serving Peegue.
4. Hidden cannon Right then Down.
5. Top-right cannon right.
6. Bottom-right cannon down all the way, then right over trampoline to Loof's conveyor button.
7. Let Loof open pink gate, then do the reflector action-puzzle.
8. Wait below exit until Stinky is ready.

Thanks, Amnon. That's was what I was doing.

Chip, I'm sorry, but I'm just not seeing the solution. I'll wait for the video.

Hi Anne
It's a bit too early for a complete solution.
Where's your next problem? Maybe Amnon or I can help again.

Wow! At last I did it.

Amnon - thanks for the help with the cannon part. I completely missed the lower left trampoline, so Peegue didn't get the help he needed, though I'd worked out Loof's cannon help.

Chip - that was a cliff-hanger of an ending for Stinky! :o
Qookie and Peegue had some pretty exciting action.
Loof had time to be more thoughtful, and carefully preserved a barrel to help Stinky get across

What a wonderful series, leaving us hungry for more. Thank you for the hours of entertainment and brain strain you've given us.

Thanks for the video solution Chip.

The way I did it, Loof managed to dispose of all the chompers so he felt a little safer. And Peegue had to smash a few cubes together before he could find a way out - your way was more elegant. 8)

Yes, I saw that way myself later. It's nicer without a chomper chasing your tail, isn't it?

As for Peegue, yes there are a number of variations.
