New Level (Advanced) - Fireworks

Post by majic1 » Sun Jul 03, 2005 3:45 am

Here's a just-for-fun 4th of July level. Not too hard - I used Linky 'n' Stoof's Statue of Liberty as one of the models - FINALLY got to use it! It's got one of those funny boulder quirks in it - and decided to keep it in!

A lot of fireworks. I liked it. And a bit tricky at the end. Beautiful little level. Thanks :D

Fabulous looking level Majic1. Loved the whole stars and stripes layout and the flag columns were great. An ideal setting for the Statue of Liberty.

Took me quite a few tries and then I died right at the end, sliding over the ice    Agree with Lutz - it was a tricky ending. Great fun to play. :D 8) :D

Happy Birthday America.

Amazing what someone like you can do with graphics and imagination.
Excellently conceived, and a fun little level to boot!
Took me a while to find 3 bonus coins.... .so I had to keep going back
and playing it over unil I found them! Also.... each time the fireworks
went off..... my eye caught a couple of flying boulders off to the right
side! Where were they going, anyway?

Well done, majic1 !

A really fun level, Majic! I liked the "quirky boulder" - looked spooky. Agree with those above, the ending was a bit tricky. The looks were great! Thanks for the fun!

The funny boulder: If you use Alt-X and pan out, you can see that the boulder goes into the water from the left side, goes out into the air on the right side, then eventually goes back to the left & smashes the kegs. So I decided to leave it in. It worked, even though in a WEIRD WAY! HA HA HA!

The 4th of July has always been the biggest, and my favorite celebration of the summer since I was a kid.
Memorial Day is very somber and sad; a day to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.

Immediately after that holiday all the decorations start appearing in the stores for the 4th of July and every house on my street displays a flag. Then, a local Real Estate company comes thru and puts a small American Flag into the ground at the edge of each driveway. It is quite a sight.
Sparklers stuck into a watermelon are the safe way for the kids to enjoy them, and it makes a nice display at nite.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY

That sounds wonderful! Everyone's got their flags up here, but we don't have anyone who puts them on each driveway. I would LOVE to see that!
