New Level: The Last Emperor

Post by Mahaloof »

All play and no work makes Jack a silly boy.

After all the foolishness of the last weeks it's high time I pay serious tribute to one of my favourite movies.
It's february 7th 1917 and China's last emperor, Aisin-Gioro Pu Yi, celebrates his 12th birthday.
This is a true account of the morning of that infamous day..

..uses Popo's new Model..

Apologies! If you've downloaded this in the first hour, here's a slightly modified version (fixed a silly loophole in the first puzzle). Sorry!

Just stopping by to say how fantastic this looks! I'm playing catch up so hope to get to it soon (although it will probably take me about a year to complete!)

I have made it to the light blue TP and I just don't see a way past the flame blocking the way. :D :D

In this level there are no extra objects serving as a red herring. You really need that steel box, in more ways than one. See the little U-shaped patch of ice close to the first flame?

GOOD LUCK!! :)

BtW Loirae, you've got quite a few spelling mistakes there...

Several hours later I'm happy to report that I finally made it through. Had to work out every room step-by-step and then go searching for hidden coins!

Quite a challenge!

:D :D :D Several hours later...HUH! Is there an echo in here, I finally made the exit, Daaaaaangy! The level itself looks fabulous, Great use of models and texture, This was a step by step process, Take a step die a horrible jumping death, Then take another step, Repeat the process. I finally stared at one point long enough to see what went where and when.

I fell like I really accomplished something here.
excellent work! :D :D :D

This is one of the most beautiful looking levels I have seen. 8)

Also extremely challenging - so I'm still working on it.

Just a short note that I'm still at it. In the meantime I have passed the green and blue TPs. Now I'm struggling with the tramps and the prisms.
The level looks great and I'm sure I'll solve it within the next weeks

Lang leve de koning :D :P :stinkyhappy:

I finally finshed this excellent mindtwister. First time I exited I was missing one bonus coin. I admit that I peeked a tiny little bit to find it
Thanks for hours of fun and desperation :D

Can't do the first puzzle??? Lillie, what have you been eating? :(

Confucius once said: "Once in a while it's good to take a step to the left, if you also know how to step back."

Well, Confucius didn't know about steel boxes, but you'll need that little space behind it to succeed. Good luck! :) :) :)

Well, since you asked...... last night, as my husband was out at football, and as my children had eaten out at a birthday party after school, I didn't have to cook a big dinner, so I had some duck spring rolls with sweet chilli dipping sauce! Followed by nearly a whole GIANT sized bag of Fruit Allsorts (like liquorice allsorts but fruit flavoured!). Anyways, I still can't do the beginning puzzle, even just after eating my lunch (crusty roll with beef, laughing cow and salad)

Need more help please! I can get the box into the water, but not the metal box onto the white button! Or am I supposed to place them together somehow for a tramp jump out of that area????

Confucious say "Lillie may eat plenty good food - but she still a sirry birry!"

Spring rolls, crusty rolls and laughing cows. I'm beginning to get an idea. Those strange British habits. Oh, well...

A steel box on a white button, never heard of that combination. I must try that out sometime. No, I suggest another significant spot. Something more colorful.....and then see how utterly ingenious the puzzle is.
I should win a prize for this, but it hasn't been invented yet.... :D

I DID IT!!! I'm going to have a party to celebrate Image

OMG Mahaloofy - what a tricky level! I must confess to using your hint about the metal box and the ice U-curve! That came in very handy as I was stuck right up the swanny at that stage! Must also confess to moving Loof to the end part (just to practice that last room) as it was taking me ages to keep going through the whole level only to be anhilated at every turn!   Of course I put him back to the beginning to play the level through!

This was indeed a masterpiece - you are ingenious ya nutter! 8)

Never was a gold star more well earned and deserved

Excellent level- thanks for the work out :D

Ok well I just can't even imagine how long it took you to create that level. I can tell you it took me forever to figure it out. Very difficult!!!!!! I was determined to get through it, but I usually don't work so long on the larger one's as I get bored and walk away. I did however come back to this and made my way home.

Yes, I did the One Button Remote... was fun and not too difficult.

I was not aware of Halloween entry R: since I don't have as much time to play as I used to, I find the levels to play by searching the authors, so if you did not initiate the topic, I would probably not see it.
