Is there a way you can get the shift option to work?
Insert stupid jokes here.

This is something that you need to discover in the game - you can't do it as a "default". Again, I don't want to give away too much too early.

WAHOOOOO!!!!! I so very missed the shift option. It's nice to know there's some hope, even if it might be different from what I'm expecting. (I have a suspicion of what it would be from other gaming experiences...

Course, I've been kown to be wrong.)

Since there are so many people asking about this one, let me answer/summarize and save everybody a bit of time:
* There is no shift option in WA.
* There is an item you can acquire later on in the game that has a similar functionality. (this happens at some point past the sewers)
* No level requires this item, but some are made much easer with it.
