please help - some problems with the models

i follow every instructions here at the forum

and my models still dont work!! I can see the car models and I can create levels with them, BUT just with them!! i tryed with other stufff, see what happens!!

It looks to me like you've got the jpg files in the folders but not the 3ds files, otherwise you would get a plain pillar and you've got a pillar with a car jpg on it. Make sure you have the appropriate 3ds files in the folders and that they only have one .3ds extension not two.

Would it be possible for you to take a screen shot of your folders and what's in them, that way I could see if there is something wrong with the way they are saved. :D

Well, after all this is not very bad. I mean, its kinda nice see pillars like this and would be nice to put in a level, dont you think? :wink:

Actually that was my first thought when I looked at it. Stinky is looking at it like "what the heck is this?"

I wouldn't use those in a lot of games but using some glitches are fun.

Yeah, the problem is that, to other users to use this glitvhies, they would have to delete (wich I deleted accidentally) some model files. I guess thay wouldnt be very happy abvout that, I mean do that, and downlod the modelk again just to a see a level wich is supposlly a mistake?.. :roll: :roll: :roll:

No, we wouldn't have to delete anything.

When you are creating using other people's models, you designate that folder as it is named.

If you made any changes to a model, you use a different folder and give it a different name and it is downloaded by us as part of your instructions.
