Never mind I finally got it after trial and error. Here it is in white.

I wish people would stop just writing in white for spoilers. It appears a clear as black text on my screen and this has just spoiled it for me.

To make a proper spoiler click the quote button then type your text, highlight it and choose white font colour, then click quote again. Then your white text is on a white background and can't be seen unless you highlight it.

That way you don't see things accidentally like I just did. I will now have to wipe it from memory.

Thank you for the solution, k82994. I tried that before, but it didn't work. When I saw your answer, I realized that the clue:

Only use each color once

Meant that you can't step on the squares after they'd been activated. What a cheap trick!!! My mathematical logic was "thwarted" by something so easy to miss! Me and my sister worked so hard on that! I feel ashamed looking at the answer.
Oh well.

okay, it must be just me, but my buttons are all brown. I would love to figure this out by myself if someone would tell me what colours the buttons are from left to right.

Could it be my video card or something???
