Just watched the season finale of NBC's Heroes.
I have watched this show from the beginning and being a very spiritual person I just LOVE IT! My son bought me a Heroes hat for Mother's Day hehehe
It is a little on the Sci Fi side but if you look deep enough you can find some excellent spiritual connections.
Just wondering if anyone else thought this show was good and what you thought about the finale?
Anyone else a NBC Heroes fan?

Everybody needs a Hero
Hi Rescuefire
Interesting topic. I have really enjoyed this series too. From the first episode, it was easy to see that this one was going to be different. It brings to mind the idea that everyone has a purpose here on Earth and the only "trick" is finding out what that purpose is. Also that teamwork can make all the difference in the world literally. A lot of good material for talking points here. A wide variety of characters and ethnic backgrounds. So its all good. And anything that makes you think has got to be better for TV viewers than these crazy reality shows and soap operas these days.
Thanks Robyn

Oh my gosh yer not kiddin'. I don't watch reality shows, other than Extreme Makeover Home Edition because they do good things for good people and THATS worth watching. It really makes a sad statement that the most popular TV show is a show that embarrasses and degrades people. It's just sad that people would find that entertaining.
And back to Heroes, I really think that Noah was a great name for the writers to pick for HRG! And although they started out making him kind of a villian I really liked him from the start. Nathan on the other hand I'm not a fan of, so if he's really dead that's not a big loss. But losing Peter SUCKS

Right but remember the future is "Not set in stone" so they've said several times. So what they've shown us in the future and in different characters dreams is not necessarily what's going to be. Personally I think it's just teasers to get us all talking hehehe
I have to agree that Peter is probably not dead just because that would make next season really suck. Even if Claire had shot him he wouldn't have died, unless of course she blew his brains out.....can't self heal from that. Remember Claire was technically dead when that spike of wood was in her artery, as soon as the ME took it out her self healing blood started to move or whatever and she was able to heal. But if Peter blew up, that would pretty much make him unhealable....unless he can get all those blown up pieces back together.....hmmmmmm

Yeah Gen I was wondering about that. Did the EMS folks take Sylar away and that was just his path of blood leading to the sewer or was he totally gone?
I saw them load.....what's his name...the cop, into an ambulance but I guess I just assumed that Sylar went in the meat wagon, being dead and all hehehe
I guess that's the medic in me thinking that everyone is doing their job.
My son hasn't seen the Finale yet so I guess I'll be watching again, more closely this time.
