Games, other than Wonderland and other 'casual' games

Post by jwdo » Mon Jan 14, 2008 8:30 pm

In this topic you can talk about games other than Wonderland and the other 'causal' games. (Huh, are there other games than Wonderland?????????????? Never knew that...)

Let's see,

You can do things like:
  • Posting your collection
    Asking something
Or you can do anything that isn't related to games.
Well I've got a Wii and a DS. For the Wii, I've only got Wii Sports, Zelda, Super Paper Mario and Super Mario Galaxy. For the DS, I have too many games.

Let's see, I have all the Nintendo systems but not Wii, not yet anyway. I can't wait to play it.

I don't have DS either.

But if I had them, I might not be in Wonderland very much!!!

If I wanted to get a Wii right now, what comes with it? Galaxy, sports (which sports?) and what else, and how much would it cost?

I have Wii and DS too, for my Wii I have Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Party 8, Super Paper Mario, Sonic and the Secret Rings (aka Sonic Wildfire/Hyper Sonic), Wii Sports, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and a fishing game I got for Christmas but haven't played yet.

I don't know how many games I have for DS.
Also, I have a GBA, and my games (that I can remember) are Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Sonic Advance 3, Sonic The Hedgehog Genesis, and Super Mario World.

(Note:I think Sonic Genesis is NOT a good game - and it's not just my opinion. Some people on Youtube went far enough to record a video, in which they destroy the game pak.)

Dizz, as far as I know Wii only comes with Wii Sports. Galaxy doesn't come with it unless you find a package deal or something like that. Wii Sports has, Golf, Baseball, Boxing, Bowling & Tennis. The Wii is still going for 249.99 everywhere. Although the HD ready version is 399. Yikes! Ebay has some folks selling them for inflated prices just because they are available. Don't bother. They will be more available soon and you can get it for the regular price.

Good luck finding one though. Last year I didn't get one until January.....none in stock during Christmas. Our stores would get maybe 5 at the most and they'd be sold out within the hour.

Lots of info here Dizz http://us.wii.com/

I'm only playing PC games. I wiat for the new demos on BigFish and RealArcade.
I've just finished Farm Frenzy with the help on the Game Cafe forum and the Playfirst forum.
I'm still playing The Tuttles MisAdventure. It's kind of boring, playing for 4 levels in the same area jumping and killing enemies or animals. But the video clips at each end of a chapter is nice.
I'm now hooked on Garden Defense. I'm stuck in the very last level on "very hard". In my last try I dead a little bite on the 30th level. Cos a centipede entered the garden and ate a piece out of the garden. So I couldn't get that last trophy, like on all the other very hard levels.

Wednesday night RealArcade launched the game 'The Great Tree'. It's a kind like Feeding Frenzy.

Of course I play all the custom adventures for the WA player too. But then I went off topic :D

Let's see.
Some adventure games, Diablo THE HELL (unofficial mod) and a few others...
The only other "casual" game I have is Supaplex (and it's clones Winplex and Simpaplex) It's a goodie. The original Supaplex is now released as freeware as far as I know -- try to find it, you won't regret.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Then you might join www.gamecafe.biz. Cos as a registered member you have access to a secret board where walkthroughs are explained. Farm Frenzy has a complete walkthru.
On the gamecafe forum we discuss many casual games. See ya there !
