New Level(adv) - Evening Stroll 20

Post by bordeaux » Fri Jan 18, 2008 11:18 pm

Enjoy

I used Janetgalle's texture 'xspot'. It is bundled with a lot of other textures located at this link:

Thanks Janet

I think this one is fairly difficult and takes some quick fingers in places. I hope you have fun solving it.

I did have fun solving this. :D

Every section was a unique puzzle all on its' own. I found myself trapped a few dozen times but again that's all part and parcel of the 'evening stroll' experience!

Thanks Michelle, difficult but not overwhelmingly so.

Bob - you're a very clever boy. Of all the Evening Strolls, I've only done 2 of them ES Rome and ES 16.

So far I've managed to get 2 generators working, 1 in my favour, the other very confusing.

The second alleyway is baffling. That break tile is  and of course I don't have the red and blue gates open. I've put something on the red which I'm supposed not to put there, and I've stood on the blue, but it really doesn't help me.

Thanks for the brainache, but I don't think I'll ever get this one Michelle!

Thanks, Michelle, but I'm going to need a walkthrough, also.

Hi Bob, Liz, and Anne. Thanks for playing. Bob has once again triumphed  He also pointed out that I neglected to put in the white gate  Oh well. I will attempt to write a walk through.

Part I:
In the first section you need to eventually destroy all the sticky cubes and the red sphere. Start by stepping down and pushing the right cube down and the left cube to the left. Now push the remaining cube down next to the sphere. Now you can maneuver the upper two cubes into the water. Now push the remaining cube down, right, up and to the left so that it is in it's original postion. Push the red sphere up and it will be destroyed by the barrel. The generator will now send three spheres into the room. When they have come to a rest, push the left one up and quickly push the remaining one down so that two spheres are in the upper room and the third will be stopped by the cube. Now push the cube down and around so that it is above the ice on the right. Push the sphere left. Put the cube to the right of the sphere. Now push the sphere down and quickly push the cube to the left and step down before the sphere returns. Push the cube up and onto the ice on the left. Push the sphere left. Push the cube onto the aqua button using the tramp. Push the sphere up and then use it to destroy the last cube via the tramp. This will activate the cube generator and stop the conveyor belt so you can collect that coin. Use the remaining cube to once again cover the aqua button and then use the other tramp to jump up
I will try to post additional help if you need it. Let me know.

I was able to complete this one only by changing things in the editor to modify the puzzle in the middle section with the steel boxes and boulder.

I could not figure out a way to keep the yellow gate open long enough to get two blue spheres to the pink button section.  :? :?

After entering the area, push the top metal box one down, then kick the ball, follow it a split-second later, push bottom box up, pass to the right, push top box further up around the bend, come down and left, then push bottom box down. Now you can take your time to improve the loop.
