Anne don't worry bout that honey! None of us have 'seen' each other to have a clue about eyes, clothes, desks or anything other than typing style!

That's what makes it fun! Although I think this hint thing is a great idea. Anything that any of us has talked about here on the forum to give us away a bit.

I can just imagine folks pouring over post after post to read everything everyone has said LOL!

This is just a leisurely, fun thing to do, so we will wait until everyone who wants to play, gets their picture to me and then start.

some of these 'clues' I'm getting are hilarious!

We already have 12 desk entries and this is getting seriously funny. The ones that don't have clues; have something in the picture that helps. Some of the pictures are total 'giveaways' and that's the funny part.

If you haven't sent your picture in yet, there's still plenty of time, so no worries.

The earliest possible deadline, as of right now, will be something like Thursday afternoon or early evening.

Hey Dizz and Bobbin - would it be alright if the website address was only given out to the people who are participating in the contest - ie people who are actually sending in photo's and people who are sending in guesses. Only these are photo's of our homes and I wouldn't really want them available to any old Tom, Dick or Harry on the WWW

Most of the photo comps in the past have been like that - it makes people feel "safer"

What does everyone else think?

I think it's a good idea to keep it private. We've always done any photo comps like that in the past. Some people were worried about the threat of identity theft. Not that there's anything on my desk that would incriminate me at all ... I don't think

, but to keep everyone happy I think it's the best way to go.

Hi All

I'm sorry but I can't join in this one. On Thursday I'm going into hospital for hip replacement surgery. Tomorrow (Wednesday) I have to take my old folks out to get stocked up with shopping.

I'll be in hospital for 5-7 days, so I won't be around for a bit.

Surgery

I know several people who've had hip surgery and everything went super fine with all of them.

They're walking better than ever now. Good news huh!?!

I figured it was getting close to your surgery. After you get home you'll still be laid up for a bit I guess. We'll be thinking about you Liz. Don't give the doctors and nurses to much of a hard time.

We now have 14 Desk Pictures and there are still a few of you who've told me you're going to send yours in tomorrow or Thursday and that's fine.

I think it's going to be a little easier than we first thought, because everyone is really doing a great job of putting a little 'clue' in the picture, or writing a 'cryptic' clue.

Anyway, it's going to be fun!
