Children talk about love.....

Post by janetgalle » Wed Feb 13, 2008 8:46 pm

Love:

"My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night."

"Love is when mommy sees daddy all sweaty and smelly and still says he is handsomer than Brad Pitt."

"I know my big sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and then has to go out and buy new ones."

When my grandma got arthritis, she couldn't bend over to paint her toenails anymore. So my grampy does it for her, even though his hands got arthritis too."

"You really shouldn't say I love you unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you."

"Love is when an old married couple are still friends, even after they have known each other for ever."

"Love is whats in the room with your family if everybody shuts up and listens with their heart."

"Love is what make you smile when you are tired."

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different.
You just know your name is safe in their mouth."

Happy Valentines Day!

AW I just love that stuff.....and yes I mean it

Those emails that run around sometimes get old and boring but this one always chokes me up a bit. So sweet and innocent.
Image Blessed are those who can give without remembering and take without forgetting.

In Thailand too!!!!
In My school, we're not allowed to bring anything about valentine's day or we will be punished even we cannot give gifts to teachers.
The government don't support about valentine's day, may be it's because
we had to maintain the thai culture.

Sweet Janet :P I love the things children say :D

My son came home from school just now with a handmade heart chocolate for me and a handmade card. He gave it to me and said "I love you mummy - can I have the chocolate please?"

Of course I gave it to him!

My other son gave me a handmade card and an apron with hearts on it - followed by "What's for dinner mummy?"

In my school, I brought valentine-shaped cookies to school and nobody said anything bad about it. And I live in Asia. :?

Come to think of it, I live in middle Asia, and you both live in east Asia. So that may be different...

Thai culture is different from Western culture.
On Valentine's day it felt like a normal day in my school.
tyteen: NO HAPPY Valentines IN ASIA!
wondertown: In Thailand too!!!!
Not the whole Thailand.
After my piano contest at another school, I came back to my school and I saw teenagers carrying flowers and Valentines stuff.
