OH! This IS a good one!!!! I'm still working on it. I had a time figuring out just how to get past the spirits & z-bots just to begin with!! Now I'm working on the prism area. I keep coming up ONE short. Very maddening. So back I go to give my brain another work out!!! Fun level! And it'll be even MORE fun when I finish!! Thanks!! :D

Somehow my calibration must have gotten messed up. I wasn't intending either this one or jail break to be too challenging, more fun than brain breakers.

Hmm. . . it's hard to tell how hard they'll be when you know the solutions, but I thought I had it down. Oh well. Hope you're enjoying them anyway.

No you don't! I just tried this again, and I came up short again. I did it yesterday, but I don't know how I did it - I must've done the right thing by accident. Now I REALLY feel stupid, and this is going to drive me nuts until I figure out exactly what I did right ONCE!

I hate when that happens!

It's awful if someone asks for the solution and you can't tell them.

Maybe the old grey cells are going fast. HAHAHA

Yikes! Please tell me where you are having trouble. I'm feeling SOOO bad, setting off a discussion of leaking gray cells like this.

No trouble Steve, we are enjoying ourselves. :D

As for the leakage, don't women just love to talk about that????

Please don't feel bad, it is not our intention to grieve you.

This level is fabulous and you have nothing to apologise for.

C'mon girls, let's give our Steve a BIG pat on the back! 8)

I have finally decided, I must ask!!
I NEED DIRECTIONS, STEVE

This level is just too good to pass over.

SPOILER FOLLOWS!

You need to move some crystals and powder kegs out of the way before the "big bang". You should have 7 crystals and two powder kegs left. This should be enough to get rid of the two metal blocks and eliminate one member of each of the double wooden block pairs. Together with the wooden block at the top of the puzzle, this should leave you with enough wooden blocks to complete the puzzle.

If this is unclear, or if I have left something out, please let me know.

I was not using the kegs to eliminate the metal boxes...if you can save 2 kegs, you don't need to..... but that, I discovered is the problem because the rainbow spirits always find them and blow them up.

I am going to try it the RIGHT way.
Thanks Steve.

I too am struggling with this one. Hmmm..... the numbers in the spoiler make sense, and others are solving it, so I must be missing something (which doesn't surprise me). I'll spend more time on it before asking for another spoiler. Either way, and no matter how I come out of it, this is a fun level. Thanks !!

 Still working on it, always manage to come up one box short, and can't seem to get both powder kegs (metal boxes) on the same explosioin.

Maybe I'll go back and re-think my strategy. Thought I was getting close there.

Ol' Gramma has offered a hint or two, bless her heart! Off to try those now, after I pick up the hair I've pulled and thrown to the floor !!

I do love a challenge. I do.... I do..... I do.....

GOT IT !!!

<whew>

Sure took me a while, but thanks to Ol' Gramma and a couple of "hey, wait a minute..." strategies, this level finally fell into place.

Steve - GREAT level. As Stinky would say, "more... more... more...."

I, too, am short one box to victory. I've tried many combinations and my best result is one box short. In desperation, I have looked for a false wall-just one, with a box in it, but that would be too simple. However, I was still hoping for a hidden box. In total frustration, I stooped to lreading the cheat and now back to the drawing board. I sure like this type of level, though.

FINALLY!!

Post by angelinaus » Fri Oct 01, 2004 10:01 am

I finally finished this level, i shelved it for a while cause it was frustrating the hell out of me , mainly because those evil rainbow sprites kept getting my barrel before i could figure out where to use it... and then before i could put it where i wanted it !! grrrrr

BUT i finally beat them, evil things that they are.

:D

great level,
hugs angel
