Hobby Contest

Hi all,

Here is the thread for the Hobby Contest, if you are interested in joining the fun you can post here to let us know.

Share your hobby(s) or what you enjoy doing in your spare time.

There are only a few rules:

#1 You cannot use any of the Wonderland Games
#2 Include some type of hint either in the picture or as a seperate note.
#3 Send your photos to either myself or Uneekrose
#4 Have some fun and enjoy the contest

I have to get into serious training for my hobby.

Just preparing my piccie and clue. Who am I sending them too, you or Dizzbomb?

Yeah! you're the first to join!

No worries........ When you all ready you can either send it to Monica (Uneekrose) or me. I will forward the ones I get to her. We were worried about the photo's going thru the forum (PM's) so between the two of us we figured we could accept the pictures and get them where they needed to go.

This is called the Round Robin Affair since Monica will set up the photo's send them to Robyn and she will place them on the web for all of us to view, then the guessing starts. For the most part Monica will be handling this contest, this one is her baby

I have to work again tomorrow but will be free from Friday to sort it out and send one of you beauties my photo/clue! I will probably email it to Cathy Stinker as I don't have Monica-ca-ca's email address I don't think, and I can NEVER attach anything in my pm box for some reason!!! Most ANNOYING MR P if you are reading this!!!

I think I figured out Bob's avatar....he was probably a bad boy in Rome and him and the missus got a police escort out of the country.

Okay folks I have 5 photos already and sent off to Monica. This is really gonna be a blast to see what you all come up with. So far I believe this is gonna be a toughy!!!

Thanks! (Monica and Robyn) Glad to can make you laugh.

I think it's a matter of luck or a gift or such. So many times I really want to say something but I've no idea what. And Monica, you gave the first move, else I hadn't thought of it.

First of all, that is a picture of my back, it was the only one I could find and I was in a hurry. The fact it was taken before I went grey just makes it more of a challenge!

As to my avatar...that's the Pope whipping by outside St. Peter's square. It all happened rather quickly so I didn't have a chance to take a very good photo. One minute we were ready to cross the street, the next 300 cops and a police helicopter are herding everybody off the road and a motorcade comes flying by. We even got a little blessing, now I have to become Catholic.

I'll get back to you on the hobby thing later.

I think that blessing will work no matter what religious beliefs you have or don't have. Good thing ya didn't get run over and end up getting last rights instead!

Well funny you should say that - I do work in Healthcare! I was a Home Carer for the last few years, then I tore tendons in my arm and had to have an operation. My arm has never been the same since

so I had to stop that job. I now work in the Home Care office and I train Carers! I only went back to work last week after a few months off due to my operation, part-time, three days a week as I have two young children. Me likie very much so far!

I forgot what you said you did - was it in farming?

Lillie, I don't understand completely what happened but I understand that you cannot use your arm like before. I'm sorry about that.

It was just a guess about that care-job because of Ascension day

And I'm working in installations. Electricity, gas, water and such things, mostly in houses.

Well, hi there Bob, as you can see a few of us have been having some fun at your expense. Here I was looking for pic of a silver haired fox but none was to be had, ya sure had me fooled, so I gave the back of your head away to someone else....

I bet that was exciting to almost get to see the Pope. I used to be Catholic but now I'm Baptist. wanted to be a Nun at one time but that never happened, sure glad of that.

Well I hope you and the missus had a good time.

About these hobby things, I've to think about it, but there is no hurry is it?

Oh gosh , I'm not ready yet either. Can't find my pic, have to look thru my album and see if I saved one, if not I have a back up plan. Besides right now we only have five pics.

How does everyone feel about not only guessing who's hobby is who's but what the hobby is? Some I think will be easy, one or two not so easy.
