Okay, I currently want to try to make an online game with TGF2, but I need help with one major component:
Setting up the connection.
With MS's permission, it'll be a bit of a platformer / isometric Wonderland online, possibly with the same character designing idea of WA (just a bit more restricted unless someone can help make graphics).
First I want to set up a basic Isometric / Platformer online engine with basic character design (e.g. a stickman), and second I wanna set up the character designing. After thesee two main components are done, I want to make a few basic test maps for multiple tests (including area switching).
Also, if wanted, I can make it a bit like an MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online), or even an MMORPG (most likely). Once I have a few test maps and some graphics, along with a test room, I will release an Open Beta on the forum. For anyone wondering, the test room would be accessible for anyone playing, but it'll probably be a bit unstable in there.
Also, if I feel like it, there'll be a secret quest (or something) to unlock the test room in the final.
These are my plans for it. Does anyone have any suggestions / criticism about it?
Also, for the internet connection, can someone either make a video tutorial (in TGF2, not MMF2) or send me a basic file with the internet connection setup?

I already have a server that anyone can use (no money), and by Game Manager I assume you mean someone who enforces da rules. If so, that'd be me.tyteen4a03 wrote:I can only provide the Server XDQloof234 wrote:Okay, I currently want to try to make an online game with TGF2, but I need help with one major component:

I'm gonna start working on the engine soon (even if I DON'T get help), so there may be a two player beta if I can't get an online connection. I'm gonna ask MS for permission to make the online game a Wonderland online game now.
