It is easier, but I was just posting a way to hide a spoiler in a way that most people will have no idea that there's a spoiler there (e.g. if you reveal your full name).Btw. Even if it works I find it a lot easier to just use the quote box with white text. I know it always works and it's easy for other people to see that there's something there for them to read.
and Small's spoiler:Regular spoiler
Small's spoiler -- THIS IS THE EXACT SAME COLOUR!
but I see no diffrenceMuzozavr wrote:Actually, this works.
For real perfectionists, the totally same color for the quote box was discovered by Small, I think. It's #FAFAFA.
Try to strain your eyes very hard (or invert colors in Paint) at a regular quote spoiler:

EDIT:I also will not use the Verry same color as the quote box cause I will have to find this post just to do a spoiler Edit: test white text: hghgfduncan wrote:but I see no diffrenceMuzozavr wrote:Actually, this works.

Oh, and is it so difficult to remember #FAFAFA? (shot, bricked, hanged)
Ok, so I pasted the page into Paint Shop, and used the colour dropper to test the colours in the quotes. The background of the quote boxes is R:250, G:250, B:250, which is not quite perfect white, and the text is 255 which is perfect white. In the one with the hex instead of name the text is also 250 which indeed does match the background perfectly.Muzozavr wrote:Actually, this works.

BUT, I think for most people, who aren't going to go to the trouble of pasting the page into an art package, or who haven't got eyes like a hawk as you have Muzzie, then just using white will be perfectly ok, and a lot less messing about.
So I suppose it's up to the person doing the spoiler, whichever method they want to use. Just as long as it's in quotes.![]()
It's either me, or the computer I'm using. I think I remember that once when I was on my laptop (right now I'm on my dad's Windows 2000), I looked from a point quite to the left of the screen, which is where the screen seems to go really dark in places. I saw the text in a spoiler, and oh, I remember now! I got an idea that maybe the spoiler box isn't pure white.Muzozavr wrote:Actually, this works.
