Cat Mario -- hilarious game!

A hilariously unfair Japanese spin-off of Mario. It's called Syobon Action or Cat Mario.
There are four levels, but just TRY to beat them all. And no, the chicken doesn't count as a proper ending. (you'll understand when you get there)
The more you know about Super Mario Bros 1, the harder you'll suffer, because that knowledge will be used against you.
When you know all the tricks, it isn't actually that hard to beat (apart from doing two key actions at level 1 and 3 that I won't spoil) but remembering them ALL is nigh impossible -- there are oodles of them.

No it isn't. It's called "Shobon no Action" or "Syobon Action". The english alternate name is "Cat Mario".
