Yes/No-question puzzle
I edited my post I forgot to say that
Mr. A was the surgeon who surgically removed the siamese twins fron each other (man B and man C) and removed the extra arm that they had shared and had gotten in their way for so so very long.....but the twins requested that they see the arm one last time and since the surgery they had moved into separate villas in different towns, one in the United States and one In Denmark. After the arm had been autopsied the surgeon placed it in formaldehyde so it wouldn't rot on it's trip and placed it into a hermetically sealed steel box and sent it to man B who said goodbye and then he sent it to man C and he said good riddance. He buried the box where it would remain forever and ever.
The End

Hi ShadowtheSpeediest!
It's a riddle, sort of, that we all have to try and guess what it is. I think it's back on page 3 or 4 and it was posted by Marinus. The one about A, B and C burying a package. If you want to play, you can go back and read it, then try to guess.
It was page 2 and I copied it for you:
Mr. A sends a package (not a parachute ) to Mr. B.
B opens it, takes a look, nods his head satisfied, closes it and sends it to Mr. C
C opens it, takes a look, nods his head satisfied and buries it in the ground.

I haven't given up yet!
1. Was Mr. A testing a certain tattoo, so B and C could see it, for some reason?
2. Was the place where they met, more important than the tattoo?
3. Was the reason they met, to talk about Mr. A, using a dead arm to test the tattoo?
4. Did they know each other, before the meeting?

Maybe Mr. A,B,and C are childhood friends and it was a time Capsule?

Interview with Ryuk
Me: What is your favorite food?
Ryuk:Apples.
Me:If you had a chance to kill Light, would you? Ryuk:Hmm....
Ryuk: Yah, but he gives me apples!
This just goes to show, even a Shinigami has a soft spot. ^o^ - Oh apples[*swoon*]...

Those are really good questions Juliet
In the original riddle as far I remember, there was no tattoo at all, but I thought it's a good idea. However, it's a weak point in the reasoning anyhow. For I think it is possible to make an exact copy of someones tattoo on someone elses arm.
There was also a question about taking fingerprints. If they had taken fingerprints of this arm, and they had earlier taken fingerprints of someone's arm, they had come to the conclusion this was not the same arm they thought it was.
So, B and C looked at the arm and were satisfied. If they knew the truth, they wouldn't be satisfied at all.
There was a question about revenge. It was not, but it was some kind of equalize.
Then there is the fact that A still has both arms, but both B and C only one.
I think I answered your questions 1 and 3 now, for it's both no. Now about the other questions.
2 Yes. If they didn't meet each other there, the whole story would not be happened. Someone asked for they jobs or their profession, and that doesn't matter much, but they needed a job, for they needed some money for this. And as I said, it was a much more nice place/situation then a school or a hospital.
4 No, they met each other, at this place/in this situation, and before that they didn't know each other.
I think I told now what important at this moment about the riddle. Maybe I forgot something but we'll see

Ok Romeo, this is so HARD!!!!
You said the whole story would not have happened, if they didn't meet each other there. They needed a job. They needed money for this. It was a very nice place where they met.
So...
1. Did the job they wanted, have anything to do with them both having one arm?
2. If Mr. A was a surgeon, I don't know why he needed a job. So was he at the same meeting, as a surgeon, or was he also looking for a job?

Juliet
Thanks for asking more questions!
I realize now that, by saying that about a job, I leaded you in the wrong direction. Sorry for that. The one and only reason I said that is: If they didn't have good jobs, they shouldn't have met at that place/in that situation. So the jobs theirselves are not important for the story. Let me tell you: They met each other on a holiday/vacation.
Actually I'd hoped there were more questions about the first half of my previous post. As I said before: The man who's arm it was, is not important for this story. But the man, of who they thought, who's arm it was, is very important.
And Juliet, for you are the only one who's still asking serious questions, let me ask you a question: Do you do this because you really enjoy this, or only to give me a good feeling? In both cases I love you!

For I have the idea, this kind of puzzles was very popular when it were easy situations which could be solved with a few questions, but now it is a situation there are much more questions and logical thinking required, people don't like it anymore. If that's the way it is, I simply have to accept that. But thanks anyhow.

Marinus, yours is simply cruel. Look, it took this topic alone from page 2 to page 7!
I have seen some hard yes/no situations, but this one is simply insane!
I give up on it.

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

Maybe you're right Muzo. I remember we did this kind of riddles when we sat in the livingroom with the whole family on Christmas evening or such. Then we all enjoyed them.
But maybe this is not usefull to do it on the forum.
I'll wait for Juliet what she says, and then probably I'll tell the story. After that we can continue with Monica's riddle.

I keep asking more questions because I love trying to figure things out and solving this sort of puzzle. But my GOSH!!!!!
Maybe it's too complex for a forum like this, I really don't know.
It's hard to make an intelligent guess about which Holiday they met, if we don't even know what Country they lived in.
And, I can't think of a good question to ask about this:
Hopefully, I won't feel too much like a dummy, when you finally post the explanation/solution, or whatever it is....I'm sorry, but I have to say I give up! As much as it kills me to do that! grrr
GIVE US THE ANSWER PLEEEEEEEEEEEEZE!!
MWWAAAA

Hi,Marinus wrote:As I said before: The man who's arm it was, is not important for this story. But the man, of who they thought, who's arm it was, is very important.

1. Did they think the arm belonged to someone they knew?
2. Did they both lose their arm, because of the man, who's arm was buried?
3. Did they think the man who took their arms off, was the man who owned the buried arm?
4. Did they (B and C) lose their arm by accident?
5. Did they (B and C) lose their arm as a form of punishment?
6. Did they (B and C) lose their arm as a form of revenge?

Oh!
More questions:
1. Did they both get their arms hurt in a shipwreck?
2. Did the Surgeon tell them their arms would have to be amputated (cut off)?
3. Were they mad because they didn't think their arms needed to be amputated (cut off)?
4. Did they want the Surgeon to have his own arm cut off, to equalize the situation?
So the Surgeon lied to them. He told them his own arm was the one to bury, they saw the same tattoo (or mark) on the arm, so they were satisfied.

1 No. It didn't happen with a shipwreck, but there was a shipwreck. After that they (the three of them) kept swimming and reached a small uninhabited island.
2 No. The three of them agreed/decided together.
3 No. It was their own decision.
4 Yes!!! They agreed also, the three of them.
