Did you delete it or shift-deleted it?

And.... did you actually delete mspaint.exe or just the shortcut "Paint" from the start menu?

Go to Start>Control Panel>Add & Remove Programs click on the big button "Add or Remove Windows Components" Highlight "Accessories & Utilities" click "Details".

Another window will open. Highlight "Accessories" click "Details" a list will come up and you can check the box next to "Paint" and click "OK" and it will reinstall it for you.

That is if you really have deleted the entire program and not just an icon or shortcut as Blast said.

Maybe it asks for the Windows-installation-cd. Then you should put it in the coffee-cup-holder. 8)

LOL!

You don't need the installation disk to install paint. The installation files are in your "cabinet" in windows :D

Ya mean that i386 folder or you really copy your Window XP/Vista Install disk inside your HDD?

P.S:I have a windows install disk right now.If you deleted mspaint.exe,I could give you another 1.

When Windows is originally installed it does this for you. Just follow the directions above and you'll be fine. Nothing more is needed :D

Ben, let us know if this works for ya :D

It will, but you will need the Windows install disk.

With the MSPAINT.EX_ on your computer will surely help Windows copy it to the right place.

Maybe where you come from that is the case Tyteen.

I've been a computer tech for over 13 years here in America and since Windows 3.0 that has been the way to do it. If you have a specific helpful hint please tell us. I find that keeping it simple is the best way.

Here in America you don't need the disk.

I'm not sure how to make this any clearer. Following the directions above will re-install MS Paint. No disk needed :D

Ben, before this thread gets crazy long why don't ya let us know if you got it to work for ya :D
