I know how to record. I have tried the help page and it doesn't help. Also, I don't have a YouTube account. But I'll try the links Bround has given me.

I just want to fix the quality. IT IS VERY BAD!!!

Nevermind! I fixed it. :D

I just need to know how to record the sound because I have it checked, but it won't. Do I need a microphone?

Good, I'm glad you fixed it. You don't need a youtube account to go there and look at videos.

I fixed the quality, but, when I go to play it back, the video goes waaaaaay too fast.

Show me your settings.

I use fraps to record video, see if there is some where in the settings for the fps (frames per second) if there is you probably need to adjust it to a lower number.(I think)

I don't think fps adjusts the speed of the recording. It adjusts... how do you explain it? It means that in every second there will be more frames. Of course, we don't notice the difference if the there's 12 or more fps. Lowering the fps would just the video file a smaller size.

:Sigh: Looks like Vista wasn't compatible with HyperCam 2 because (this happened 2 times) my compuer would freeze, then go into "Sleep Mode." (Or at least thats what it looked like.) :Sigh:

Oh, well! There's not much I would use it for.

When I was trying out screen capture software and I went to record a level I had to set my display and the bit rate to it's lower setting otherwise it would freeze up on me or just didn't record very good. I really liked fraps so I bought it. The trial of fraps will record 30 sec. intervals and you can use microsoft movie maker to piece them together.

Yeah, the sound recording fails, it doesn't do anything. You need a microphone and the sound to be coming out the speakers.

Also, if it's recording sound and you have a microphone it'll pick up your voice as well.
