Use the POWer

Post by rebel »

Can anyone give me any hints on how to get these stinkers to go where I want them to?

I've been chasing one stinker around for ages and I haven't even got close!

Two of them are relatively easy, the farthest one I've got covered, it's just the second from the left that is proving impossible.

Yes he was a bit of a headache, that one!
Try step by step. one forward, then quick one back. He'll then move one step. Also remember diagonal approach to direct him. If you approach him from from S to N, he'll go NW.
Hope this helps

I've sorted this out -

I can get the first one on by "pushing" him from other side of wall, this knocks off second one. I can get second one on by pushing from other side of wall - this knocks first one off.

Obviously I can't get them both on!

I can't decide if I like this game or if I'm just addicted and "have" to do it! Even if I finish this level I know the next one will be just as bad. I need help (or a hobby!)

Salin, what do you mean, "One step forwards then one step back?" These are scritters, not crabs.

I found that it worked for scritters too? Maybe I'm wrong, still, one step at a time. And diagonal, watch how many steps he take for each step you take, and in what direction.

Bah! Pesky scritters! I got them all one, and then realised I'd missed something earlier ... so now I'm trying to train them again.

I'm having trouble getting my far left scritter on the yellow button. Any hints besides ingers, cause I 've tried that, and it just aint working for me.

I assume it's the button closest to the gates? That was the hardest one for me, anyway.
I use the scritter who are most at the North. Stand in front of brown gate when you unfreeze him. Take one left and one N, scritter should now stand one step N of yellow gate. Take one step left and then one N. Repeat steps (left and N). You are now two steps N of yellow gate.Scritter is 2 steps left of yellow button in front of you. Go so you're E of that button and take 2 steps W. Scritter is now diagonal SE of button his going on. Take 2 steps S and one W (wall between you!). Voila! (I hope  )

Oh, I'm sorry
Try to make him stand in the middle of the place, so he's facing right at the button. If you approach him diagonal, he'll go in the opposit direction.
If this doesn't help, I'll go replay again.
Another hint to get him to stand in the middle, is for you to stay on the other side of the wall.
If this doesn't help, I'll make you a special pm.

I miss three coins, is it normal. I mean I have the ones that are behind the brown gate but when I finish I'm told that these three coins are missing.

I haven't seen them anywhere ? If any of you have an idea......

Forget it as soon I posted this I found them

Here's my problem: I finally got all the scritters in place, then I teleported, then got stuck there because I didn't have a pow left. I used my 9 pows for: 4 scritter + 5 spitting flowers.

Am I suppose to be super-fast & kill the first flower then run back for a pow recharge before the orange gate closes or not kill one of the flowers or what?

Anybody out there have any additional bits of advice....I've been chasing this little guy around for 2 days now and he still won't 'heel'. Thanks.

PHEW, thanks for the above video Mette...finally able to proceed.

My Real Player would not support this 'content type ICM FMP4',
so I downloaded VLC Media Player and it worked. Many, many thanks.

I've just downloaded it and been playing at making videos. It's bloomin' brilliant. Editing them in Windows Movie Maker is a doddle. I might have to open a YouTube account now. 8) :D :D
