MOFI - Scritter Maze

This adventure is bugging me. While I can complete it, I can't complete it with all gems and coins. Here is how I'm using the blinks.

1-2 Teleporting to the gems and coins and back.
3-5 teleporting to get the scritter past the blue gate in time.
6-7 teleporting to get the scritter on the red button.
8 teleporting past the red gate
9 teleporting past the orange gate
I seem to need to use another blink to get past the scritter on the yellow button so I won't get off.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hint 1:

It should only take you 2 blinks to get from the blue button to get scritter behind blue door.

Hint 2:

Your main concern is trying to get the first scritter onto the green button

I'm having real trouble with this one. I can't get back from the blue timer button quick enough to get the scritter through the gate, even if I blink all the way. Until I can get this bit I can't do anything else.

My scritter is behind the blue gate.
But how do I get him on the green button?
At the crossing, he won't jump left. I can't blink, cos I'm around a corner.
He only jumps straight up or down.

Go around and chase the scritter so he's in front of the two buttons, but without pressing them. Blink behind it.

How must I chase him before the buttons?
He sits at the crossing. On the right are those 2 buttons (pink and light blue)
He has to go to the left. But I don't know how?

Found the place to blink!

Now I'm trying to get the scritter on the green button.
Just trying! Maybe I need help on this one too!

I thought the second one should go on a button too.
But this ain't so.
I blinked in front of the scritter, he jumps on the red.
I blink thru the red gate and blink thru the orange
lead the 2 towards the yellow and blink again
FINISHED !! With the help of lot of friends!! THANKS !!!

I am completely flummoxed with this adventure. I cannot understand how I can get the scritter behind the blue button using only two blinks. I know it's "in the speed of the fingers" but I need something new to try. I am just repeating the same mistake over and again! Please help me somone!!

How do u get him in the blue gate. I post him near there, go to blue button, blink back, and he runs towards the gems.

This is luck and fast fingers.

From button- blink down, right, down, run up in the down room to make him jump at the gate, then quickly run up and towards the gate before it close.

It is possible, but might take a few tries.[/quote]

This part requires such speed that it's nearly impossible. I just do it the luck way, much, much, easier than that ultra-fast ridiculous way.

Ok, I think I've found the problem.

I just tried completing Scritter Maze in the MOFI Editor, because MOFI lags a lot on my laptop, and the fluent experience was wonderful. I did actually complete it the ultra-fast way.

So, I think the problem is that MOFI lags too much for the speed needed.

I never needed speed for this. I did this:

From the timer blink down, right, down and step up one. (That second down I can't remember which tile and it DOES make a difference. If you don't go far enough, the scritter goes to the right. If you go too far down, he stops IN the gate. You'll have to try a couple tile to see which is right.)

Your stinker does NOT have to follow him through the gate. You only need the scritter to get through the gate. Then you can walk at your own pace up the left, around the top and down into the room where the scritter is and stand by the gate, pretending you came in that way. You don't need luck or incredible speed for that. I mean, you do have to get the scritter up before the timer runs out, but you don't have to get yourself up there.

Stop before the column thats in the middle (near the other scritter behind gate) then blink right and down.

I must just be completely dumb, cause he never stays in the middle to blink between. When he is in the middle, I hit the wall.

Inger is having a hard time pming me. I got her hint above about the chasing, but again, you can't blink thru objects. And to me that is the only solution. Some one help, in baby words

I have only got 2 blinks left - is this enough to go on?
I am at the position where I have got the scritter past the blue gate, but try as I might, cannot get him to turn towards the green gate.

ok - now managed to get scritter past blue gate with 4 blinks left.
Someone - PLEASE talk me through the next bit.
I cannot get him on to the green button.
I am in the area with the scritter in front of the blue gate.

Salin has already given a hint how you must proceed. It's the 7th post above.

If the scritter is postioned as mentioned in Salin's reply there is one position in the room with the blue gate from which you can blink without hiting the walls. It took me too a while to found this place
