Yeah, I already figured it out thanks. That was a waste of time trying to bring the spikey to the next area safely. I guess it was good practice for future levels.

You guys all have the better way. I did the impossible.
Using the two scritters in front of the indigo gate on the little island with one sitting to the north and one just in front of the indigo gate with the grab in the only space left on the island and the wee placed to the first north collapsing bridge works the best. As you take your guy, having him step to the wee, then sending the wee to the bouncer as you step to the center, large, up and down bridge, works great. Here is what I did:

I used only one scritter and got the crab and the scritter to go straight past the indigo gate. It took an uncountable # of tries but I did it twice. I put one scritter in front of the indigo gate, the crab in the water on top of the up and down bridge, and the wee just south of the bouncer. At this point it is all about timing. Send the wee to the bouncer just as the crab comes up, on the up and down bridge, and move forward. If not timed perfectly two things will happen. Either the crab will go into the water south of the island or you will get killed by the light blue gate. But if timed perfectly you stay alive and the crab goes past the indigo gate and goes straight.

What do you guys think of that???

I think: Why would anyone do it the hardest way when they know the easy way?
But, then I thought, wow, well done    Doesn't matter how you do it, as long as you can do it, right

I wish I knew the easy way before I did the level. (Not that there is an "easy way") As it turns out, I did it the hard way and then went to this discussion to see what others had done. I thought that there must be a better way to do it than what I had figured out, and sure enough there is.

There is a video posted above with this whole area shown. Look for a post from Mette.

Meanwhile, the one that pushes the button is the little guy that you can actually move that far. Not the scritters, they won't reach.. Not the crab...he won't reach. Has to be the wee stinker. And don't worry about leaving behind. He'll find his way back to you at some point.

Yes, I can pinpoint your problem, because I'll bet I did the exact same thing. And you'll kick and scream whe I tell you:

Do NOT use the rainbow teleporter near the spikey. Don't let anything push that button. You have to get the crab through there withOUT using the TP.
Spoiler on WHY you shouldn't use the TP wrote:When you push the button to turn in on here, it turns off another set at the bottom and that set is the ONLY way too reach the coins. (Use your spy-eye at the very beginning to look at the south part of the adventure.)

OK, I'm ready to quit and cheat out of this one. I've read all three pages of hints and found them not so helpful to me. The best I've been able to do after days of trying is to get both scritters and the crab onto the island at the top right corner of the screen. As soon as I then try to join them on the island, the crab goes into the water behind the wee stinker, who's standing on that round square, as described in someone's post. I can't see Mette's video. Any last words before I cheat out of it???

You can't see the video? Can you see any video on youtube? If you can, go search for salin09 and see what videos I've posted.
Any advice? I don't know, let's see.

If you're standing on the gate, the scritters are standing in line with the crab between them, and the wee stinker is on roundish floor. Point with your mouse directly S of the crab, he should now go straight N. SAVE!

I just CAN'T do this level. I always have trouble with the scritters which don't go where I want them to go. Event after watching the video I don't manage to do it.

Maybe this level is not for me
