Okay, seems like it got lost during the server migration, so here it is again.
Enjoy!
(Oh, and by the way, I do think now that there is a minor unintended solution. Could those of you who already solved it tell me how you did it, please?

I never used the boulder, I just pushed it out of the way.
I figured it to be a herring.
Great puzzle!
I put one metal box on the green button and other right of the timer to keep the chomp out of that hall so it would keep walking over the timer.
Then used a wood box and one sphere and metal box to build my bridges.

Okay, that makes two unintended solutions

.
The original solution is actually kind of a mix of both of your solutions. I think I'll soonly post a video solution here to show it. I do like the idea, but I guess somebody who has at least a tiny bit more talent to avoid shortcuts should have used it...
EDIT: Here is the original solution:

I just saw the video and I can tell you that never in a million years would I have come up with that solution. Well, maybe in a million years...
I did this similar to the way Keek's did, sorry Luc.
Still a helluva challenge and a lot of fun, thanks!

Thanks for that video! Very interesting, but I probably also never had thought to do it this way

If I had known what should activate the timer I'd probably done it Kiki's way

Cool moves there Luc. I couldn't figure it out so I watched your video also. Thanks for the challenging level.
