New Level - Snake Dog

Post by kiki » Mon May 04, 2009 11:48 pm

This one started out innocent enough...Of course I kept tweaking it and now its a humdinger...At least I think it is.

The title is the call sign of Dennis Haysbert's Character in the TV show "The Unit".
I was watching the show and making this level at the same time.

What a humdinger indeed - a nightmare if you don't know what to do, but once you know, it only takes Loof 54 seconds to exit.

Thank you Kiki!

Having a time on this one, Kiki. I can get the blue sphere over to the other side. May I have a hint as to how to move it once it's over there?

I need help with the green balls please
Push Left, then Up onto the red button, then run for your life towards the top-right corner, waiting for the other green sphere to arrive, then push it Down, Right and Down

Nicely crafted Keeks. The blue spheres and the metal box movement had me stumped for a bit until the light came on. :D

Thanks again!

When first stepping on the breaktile wait til the sphere arrives then push it left and quickly step back then up to push the cube down then left.
That is how I do it. :D :D :D

Sorry, I was gone yesterday,
Thanks to Amnon for the hints. :D

Does anyone remember how to solve the blue spheres at the beginning of this puzzle? I did it before but I can't do it now, I'm just not seeing the answer.

Push blue spheres up, come around without taking any coins and push them down, then left. Take coin, push metal box to the right of the TP, then push blue sphere down, metal box into the water, blue spheres to the right, enter TP and into the next area.

Hi Bob,

Just finished it! Happy I was able to solve it without hints.
I usually have a lot of difficulty with sphere combinations.
This was an excellent puzzle! 8)

Push lower sphere U.
Cross break-tile U.
Push top sphere D.
Push top sphere L on conveyor button.
Push box 3 R.
Push top sphere D.
Push box 1D + 3U.
Roll top sphere R on yellow button.
Push box 1L + 1D + 3R into water.
Enter lower TP and pushing other box down to cross.

Go to lower area and use bottom ice curve to go around sphere.
Push sphere D + R using the ice.
Take coin and when sphere is rolling L:
Push cube 1U and step 1R on break-tile.
Roll sphere L and quickly push cube 1D + 1L on blue button.
Take coin by aqua button and jump U.
Push green sphere L + D on red button and quickly go to spot below top-right break-tile.
Roll green sphere D and follow.
Push sphere R and step on break-tile with coin.
Push sphere D and quickly exit.

I should have been more detailed when I asked for help, my apologies.

I didn't have any trouble getting the blue sphere down to the bottom and to the right but then the pink button wasn't covered and when I pushed that lower blue down the yellow wasn't covered either. I now see that those buttons get covered again by pushing the blue sphere right and then left and using the conveyor timer.

Thanks Amnon and Mark, it's good to know that there's always people willing to help out when we have one of those 'duh' moments. Much appreciated. :D

Bob - thanks for bringing this one back to the top.

I remember struggling with it for hours and never being able to solve it.

So thanks Mark for casting enlightenment for us.

Another really exciting level.

Thanks Keeks.

Wish you were here.
