So I did a leg of lamb

How do I make this thing say: popo wrote ?????

Sounds wonderful. I would have loved to spend Christmas with you - roast lamb is something I really miss and always want as soon as I get home, and sausages too.

Once the snow melted, it wasn't very Christmassy here either. We put lights up outside in our trees, but nothing inside. We live with that sort of a cat

Did you get the snow pictures I sent you? If that worked OK, I've got a "mean granny" one you might like. You'd have to think twice about sitting on her lap !!

.......and you can come and help take our Christmas lights down if that will make you feel better

Let's just hope 2005 doesn't have all the tragedies that we've seen this year. We've been lucky, we haven't been personally affected either, but I'm with you, my heart just aches for those who are suffering.

Well there you go! I collect Santas, probably have 200 or so, I always get several every year. They are all over my house! I would gladly pay someone to come put them all away. Maybe I'll get it done by Valentines day. Thats the trouble with taking a week off to get ready for Christmas, no time to clean up after!

I too have a tree on my desk......maybe you will see it soon.

Did you email them? I've checked my mail and there was nothing there. I'll keep checking.

Getting back to the Picture Me thing. I've now got all the photos from everyone who said they were joining in. So I'll get the web site ready and give you all the address at the weekend. If anyone else wants to join you better let me know and I'll hold off.

When you have done guessing, send me your answers by PM. That way the first ones to guess won't give it away for the others.

We're going to have to think of a title or something for the winner.

At first glance, I'd have to say that I hope there'll be a prize for the least number of correct guesses, for I'll surely win that one!

But I look at the contest as all about fun, and the pictures are amazing! What a collection of photos, some old, some new, of a bunch of people sharing one common bond.... insanity!

Excellent job of putting the web site together, gathering all the pics and clues, and organizing everything to make the contest a grand time, Popo! You are to be commended for your efforts.

Just a flying visit from me - been away and now have to get ready to go out to a party

I have looked at the website - it looks absolutely brilliant Popo - a HUGE well done to you. It looks fantastic!!!!!!

Off to see my beloved Tottenham tomorrow, then have visitors coming in the evening for a few days - it really has been all go this past week. I hope you don't mind if I get my guesses in by Monday???

I must add to the congrats Pauline, you have done a fine job here.

A wee bit of head scratching going on with a few of the pics, one or two I'm 100% sure of.

Some of the clues are pretty dang clever, others don't help me at all!

What a lovely bunch of kids, and what a great web-site you made, Pauline! Excellente job.

I had a really hard time trying to solve the clues and get it right, don`t know how well I`ve done it, so Roger: I think that prize for the last numbers of correct answers will be mine!

BTW, how will you let us know when the results are ready?

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone will get them all ?

I still expect to be at the bottom of the list.

A couple of clues helped, but with most of them I was clueless.

I've got 5 guesses in up to now. I presume littlejg won't be guessing on his own, and Jan's are together with Malc's, and as I'm not guessing there are still 6 to come.

Still need to think of a title for the winner - presuming you don't all get 'nil points'.

What about Mr. or Mrs. Know-it-all?
